On August 24, 2023 Mr. ****** and his company moved my items from Cincinnati, Ohio to Tampa, Florida. Approximately a week prior to the move I met with Mr. Anthony M***** to give him the deposit ($1900.00) for the move and to allow him to take a survey of the items that I needed to have moved. He came to my apartment at *** **** *** ***** **********, **** ***** to recieve his payment. He parked in the garage below my building and came into my apartment. When he was there Mr. ****** took inverntory of my items as well as picures. I paid him via Cashapp a total of $1925.00. (Nineteen Hundred for the moving deposit and twenty-five for the parking) Fast forward to the move. Mr. ****** arrived late, nevertheless he LEFT his men to load my items. After they loaded my items they (the movers) realized that the 20 foot truck would not be big enough. This occured after Mr. ****** stated prior to the move that , "You may need a 26 foot truck. You have a lot of stuff". I said, "Really do you think I will. How much more is that going to cost me"? After that we settled on the 20 foot would be enough. Well, as it was I needed the 26 footer. He charged me an additional $1300.00 because now he had to get a trailer for the rest of my items. My friend, **** ******, was there to oversee things. **** paid $750.00 dollars towards the trailer. In the end, my items were moved to Tampa. However, there were several items that have been damaged/broken. He was aware of the vase. Later, I would find that my Bass, my Globe, my Dining room chair and my vase have all been damaged. I have asked him to reimburse me for my damged items. To date, he refuses to pay for my items. He stated when he received my deposit that he was bonded and insured. I need to reimbursed for my items. I have asked for $2800.00.
