I am from ********** I was on vacation at ***** **** ***** when my Iphone13 screen went out on my phone. Not familiar with the area I googled a close Apple store to the *****. I went to Apple Rx they did not have a screen in stock to fix my phone. 5-2-24 they sold me a 64 GB used ***** ** *** with the case for $433.20. 48 hours later I'm at home in ********** I notice the phone is glitching and I can't hear on the phone unless the phone is on speaker. I now know I purchased a lemon. I called and spoke with AppleRx I am 5-6 hours round trip from there but I need a resolution. I offered to insure the phone and lose even more money to send it back to them for the phone to be fixed or a different phone to be mailed back to me. First I thought this was the resolution but then AppleRx decided they did not want to be responsible for mailing a phone back to me. Cell phones are sent through the mail everyday for repair/purchase. I am a single Mother that works 50 plus hours a week I do not have the financial means nor the time to drive back to Ohio.Initial Complaint

Took an **** to AppleRX to repair. The **** was tested while I was in the shop and I was told that the battery needs to be replaced. I picked it up when it was done. Paid $120.00 in cash, no receipt issued. But the **** had the same issue after the repair (worked but suddenly turned off showing a black screen). Took it back to Apple RX in about a week, was told that it is not the battery but a motherboard. Replacing a motherboard would be more expansive than an **** of this model itself so I refused. The old battery was installed in my **** and I requested my money back. The owner refused to give money back but offered used **** of the same model instead. I refused and wanted to get money back since the problem was not resolved. The owner stated he spent time to try to repair the device and that is why he is keeping the money. I believe I should not pay for inability to correctly diagnose an issue and resolve it.
