I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Deck and Fence Renewal Systems, warning others about their unprofessionalism and lack of respect for customers. From start to finish, their service was riddled with incompetence and disregard for basic courtesy.To begin with, I contacted Deck and Fence Renewal Systems for a deck restoration estimate. They assured me they would call back to schedule the estimate and provide a courtesy call before arriving. Unfortunately, they failed to follow through on both counts.Today, a man named Greg from the company unexpectedly showed up at my property without any prior notice. Instead of apologizing for the lack of communication, he rudely insinuated that my "mom" had called and given permission for his unannounced visit. This assumption was unfounded and highly inappropriate, completely irrelevant to the situation.When I expressed my frustration and asked why they did not adhere to their promise of calling ahead, Greg displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. He dismissively told me to "get over myself," showing a complete disregard for customer service and common courtesy. Such an arrogant and disrespectful response is completely unacceptable, indicating the poor quality of service provided by Deck and Fence Renewal Systems.I strongly advise against considering this company for any deck or fence restoration needs. Their unprofessional behavior, failure to communicate effectively, and disrespectful treatment of customers are clear indicators of their lack of commitment to providing satisfactory service. Save yourself the trouble and frustration by seeking assistance elsewhere.Deck and Fence Renewal Systems has proven themselves to be a company that values neither professionalism nor customer satisfaction. Their actions have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I hope others will take heed of my negative encounter before considering their services.

People take note of the lengthy complaint of someone who only called in for an estimate. WOW. We were contacted to look at a deck in the back yard and turn pool deck into a rectangular deck based on the fact they enjoyed our services before. I walked approximately 15 steps to look at situation. Customer verbally attacked me and said he could have me arrested. Some people in our society have issues and its a shame they react like they do. Yes, I said get over yourself, I probably could have said something different.

The quality of my deck is poor. I expressed my frustration multiple times only to be met with excuses. The owner did correct several issues throughout the building of the deck and stained the deck for free. I have warped boards, molded boards, uneven joints and they left the stamps on when staining. The use of nails instead of screws have allowed floor boards to become loose. We will be lucky if our deck lasts 10 years. Would not recommend.

Explained to customer we dont make the wood. We used premium decking. She was told before we started that wood is not what it used to be, on the back of my quote sheet it says not responsible for warped, shrinking , etc. A lady who did not get her way and wants to blame for her judgement to go with wood vs. composite. All deck boards come with a stamp on them, not like I can erase them. My advice to other contractors.... avoid this lady.
