      I took my **** ***** ***** in for regular service oil change, tire rotation, and inspection on 7/22/22 Cody S**** did the work and inspection and give written report that the car needed no further work done. Cody had the car on the rack for 3 hours to do the oil change. When i got home i noticed the car was leaking a red fluid from under engine, i call Jake Sweeney's where i bought the car and had it serviced and their first appoint was 8/18/22 at 10;30 am, so i took the car in they kept it overnight called me on 8/19/22 and said it would cost $8056.15 to fix and my extended would pay ZERO on the ****. I went in and picked up my car and spoke with Erica D***** service advisor who gave me the written estimate of the $8056.15. I spoke to Joey Chadwell service manager and Dustin D**** service Director and i ask them why their service man give car a perfect **** of health just a week earlier, but after they had it on their rack for 3 hours now it will cost $8056.15 to fix? they had no answers, they told me i could talk ti Fred M*******, but he won't answer his phone nor \return my calls, so i am asking you for help on getting my car fixed. The car has a long history of transmission problems which they told me they could not fix it, not to bring it back. When i bought the car they sold me a extended warranty and said i would have ZERO out of pocket until after the first 100 thousand miles, other then oil change and tires, they have had the transmission out at 53,000 but still did not fix it and now it is leaking and they are sending me reminders to get it fixed at all my out of pocket. I have been patient with these people and they have lied to me from the beginning and now want me to pay over 8 grand to get them to fix it, Please give me some guidence and help me or do i need to have my attorney file charges, all i want is my car fixed, I have all supporting paper work on every thing i have said but cannot upload it.Thanks ****

      Hello ****, 

      This is Dustin with Jake Sweeney, I personally spoke to Fred he has yet to receive a phone call/ voicemail from you per our conversation. I also wanted to take a moment to tell you I am sorry you are dissatisfied with our service. Our goal is to service customer's vehicles are quickly and efficiently as possible while offering outstanding customer service. We have been in business for over 100 years because of our commitment to our customers. I will also take this moment to clarify a few things. As we spoke in my office you were here for 2 hours not 3, it appears the Saturday you were here it was very busy and there was a delay before the technician received your car. Either way it appears as if the technician did not complete a proper inspection. My assumption is he completed a car as promptly as possible and moved to the next car. In reference to the transmission concern, the transmission on your Cruze has not been seen by our team since October 16, 2020. The only concern after this transmission rebuild was in March of 2021 when your vehicle had a coolant leak. Please note no other transmission concerns have been found. Your vehicle has not been back to our facility in 20,000 miles, Other than the oil change we are discussing. In regards to your warranty, your extended warranty purchased it a Wrap warranty which covers items around the powertrain. The other warranty which is given with the purchase of the vehicle is  Lifetime Mechanical Protection this cover all powertrain items for the life of the vehicle as long as you have the vehicle maintenance at a Jake Sweeney facility. Unfortunately the Lifetime Mechanical Protection is void since the vehicle was serviced elsewhere for the 20,000 miles we did not see the vehicle here. Lastly the estimate you received was not just for a transmission repair, but also for maintenances, and an oil leak that was found. Out of curiosity did the other facility who maintenance the car for the past 20,000 miles not notice the transmission leak or the oil leak after further inspection? We have no problem assisting you in the repair of the vehicle, but we will not participate in a complete repair for free. Thank You Dustin D****.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

      ******* ********  I completely reject Dustin D****, i have tryed to call Fred m******* several times, he does not answer his phone nor return calls  i called again today and left him another phonr message in which he has not returned. 

       To clarify Dustins remark t5hat i was not there three hours, you are dead wrong, after 2.5 hours i walked back to Codys area and my car was still in the air on his rack and he told me my car would be done soon, someone pulled it around after three hours ande i left.

       To clarify Dustins remark that the car was not given a complete inspection, I have a written copy of where he did and it needed no further work that needed done.

       The reason i did not bring the car back was you told me after one of your technician drove it, he told me that all ****** drove like that and that was as good as it gets, and you told me not to bring the car back for that problem again, the same day you fixed the coolant leak.

       If BBB does not bring us together that you fix my car, then i will go further in the court of law, just let me know, i have documents to prove every word i have said, but cannot upload them. Thank **** ********
