I hired Mr Fountain to work on my front lawn area- He came over the same day I called which was 6/27/22. Said it was no problem, told me the cost would be $575.00 to which I agreed. I gave him a check from my *** account( #***) for 287.50. He said he'd be here the following Tuesday. I've gotten excuse after excuse for him not showing up. I've given him the benefit of doubt, and I'm done being patient. I want my money back, and for it to be noted he is an unworthy businessman.Initial Complaint

All communication with George Fountain have been emails or phone messages left on his answering device. Phone: ###-###-####, email *************************** 1. Project was: sodding , seeding, leveling part of my back yard 3. March 31 (Thursday) Fountain agreed to contract of $3715. 5. April 6 (Wednesday) emailed telling how the deposit check of $1757.50 is to be made out- “George Fountain II”. 6. April 7 (Thursday)Fountain came and picked up the check and cashed it the same day 7. April 17 (Sunday) I emailed wanting to know the schedule since I had not heard in 10 days 8. April 17 (Sunday) Fountain responded that he was coming to prep on Saturday April 23 9. April 23 (Saturday) NO show, I wanted new timeline 11. April 25(Monday) Fountain responds that Thursday 28 and Friday29 is going to be prep days. No show ,no communication. 12. April 30(Saturday) I wanted to know the plan for service 13. May 5 (Thursday morning) I wanted a phone call 15. May 5 (Thursday evening) I get a message from one of Fountain’s associates that he is out of town and will return Sunday May 8, and will call. 16. May 10 (Tuesday morning) I demand a phone call 17. May 10(Tuesday afternoon) I want the contract cancelled 18. May 12(Thursday) I confirm and repeat that I want the deposit of $1757.50 returned either in person or by mail. 19. May 17(Tuesday) Fountain responds at 8:30 am that he will call this evening 20. May 18 (Wednesday morning) I respond that he did not call and wanted an explanation as why not. Please call now! 21. May 23(Monday) I message, “what is going on?”.From Monday April 25 I have not heard from you until last Tuesday May 17 when you emailed me that you were going to call me that night and you haven’t called. My phone calls to you are all to an answering devise. I need to know what is going on. It can’t be that difficult to make a phone call. Call me now-call me.
