I entered a contract with Stephen in March 2023 for landscaping and fence installation. Continuously throughout the project he would show up late or not at all. There were several instances in which I wanted to cancel but he ensured me work would be done and a discount would be applied to the bill. Once the job was finished there were several items that I made clear to Stephen that were remaining and he promised he or his team would be there to take care of the matter. Additionally, there were improper materials installation which made it impossible for the grass to grow and bare areas. According to the contract there were to be removal of bamboo roots, leveling of the yard which became raised due to the bamboo, stump removal and over seeding and removal of unwanted grass. All of these issues remain and I was informed of that leveling of the area was not a possibility which I later found out was false. Long story short this experience has been terrible. It seems like the business owner provides better services to some and lackluster service to others. I spent a large sum of money with Stephen and tried to communicate with him prior to this complaint. Buyer beware!!Initial Complaint

On March 10, 2022, I entered into a written contract with Stephen B***- DBA as Simply Beautiful Lawn care & Landscaping to plant (7) Boxwood shrubs in my flower bed. I contacted him on Aug. 19, 2021 and informed him that two were dying. He said he would replace them. I contacted him again in Sept., 2022 and he once again promised to replace them. He came by my home in Oct., 2022 and said he would cover the cost and have them switched out. This has not occurred.I contacted him in early May, 2023. He was a no show for the two dates that he promised to come and replace the. Boxwoods. He is not responding to my text, voice mails or email.Customer response
