I was involved in a hit and run car accident (other party's fault) on 5/7/2021 and signed a contract on 8/25/21 with Gregory S. Young Co. LPA. Michelle T**** was my assigned attorney. Ms. T**** asked me if I wanted her to hold an amount (1,600.00) for ********/******** and I said yes. My car insurance company was ****** ***. *** insurance paid my medical bills as required. I received NO medical bills from the hospital regarding my two hospital visits. There are NO Bills due for this accident. Every time I contact the attorney and/or the **** ******** (who handles the lien on ******** and/or ********), I'm told that the attorney has to submit documents through Portal. I have constantly been given the run around. Had I known that my rights would have been violated, I would have never agreed to have Ms. T**** hold a percentage of my settlement; I would have paid the hospital directly, if needed. I am requesting from Attorney Young, that the balance of my settlement be sent to me immediately.Business response

We understand your frustration regarding this process and understand that it takes a long time to resolve. However, we are under the legal duty to reimburse ******** and ******** what they have paid on your behalf, which we are diligently working on. We have just followed up on those liens and will continue to follow up. Once we have the final liens, we will contact you to distribute the remaining funds. Please let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.

I spoke with Michelle assistant who stated that the office received the lien from ******** but that they are waiting from a response from ********. As
requested , I faxed over a copy of my ******** card. I informed the assistant that *** insurance paid my medical bill and that ********/******** never charged me or mailed a bill. According to the Metro Health Chart, I owe nothing. Thank you... ** ***
