I booked Comfort Inn & Suites located in Cincinnati, Ohio through Expedia. I read the reviews and since I haven't visited Cincinnati before thought that it would be okay place to stay with my two young children. Upon my arrival the hotel was not as it appeared in the listing. It was a Quality Inn instead of Comfort Inn. The building is run down and in a very unsafe neighborhood along with an unsecured parking lot and unsecured entry into the hotel. I talked to the front desk and explained my concerns. She was very kind and made note of my concerns. I told her that I could not stay there because I wasn't sure if it was a Comfort Inn or Quality Inn and I felt extremely unsafe with my two young children. She told me to call the manager. I tried calling multiple times Saturday and Sunday with no avail. Monday 2/5 I called Expedia to try to get a refund. The customer service person informed me that they will call the hotel on my behalf because they need the General Manager to refund my stay. The General manager agreed to refunding me one night ( I had two nights booked). I don't understand why I can not be refunded for the full booking. The hotel was not has advertised, and it was not safe to stay in. All I want is to have my full amount refunded.Customer response
