Trying to support a black owned business I sought out this company to provide a professional service which included creating a flower bed for my mom for Mothers Day (to surprise my mom) I feel like i was over charged and taken advantage of for the lack of my knowledge of landscaping. There was a lack of misunderstanding on the service i requested and thought i was receiving. When explaining how i was unhappy with the flowers and service she then said if i pull up the flowers she would return my money because she still had the receipt which she did hold to her part. Instead i got blocked. I understand the labor and time involved and was fine with paying for that. I was very unhappy with the service provided and would not recommend.

THIS IS BLACKMAIL AND IT IS ILLEGAL. I WILL BE FILING A CIVIL LAWSUIT NOW FOR ATTEMPTING TO TARNISH MY BUSINESS AND PLACE A JUDGEMENT LIEN ON YOUR HOUSE BECAUSE THE MOTHER TOOK PART IN TRYING TO STRONG ARM THE SITUATION AS WELL. This client is upset I did not do a second bed for free and buy the plants for the second bed free of charge as well. The second bed in question was compLately covered by weeds until I also cut their grass free of charge. Then once it was discovered she tried to offer me what she could afford which was $100. To try to avoid blackmail or a bad review, I also offered to do the bed for free if they paid for the plants and any fees. No, they expected me to do it all for free or to just pull all weeds and mulch it for free. Once I made it clear that there was no refunds once services were rendered they threatened an attorney so I hung up and blocked them. I told her she could email as much as she liked but I was no longer responding. She continued to insult my business and the work performed after she had paid her **** in full and admitting to liking the design and the plants. This is a matter of people not willing or able to pay for what theyre asking for. Plants are not free, labor is not free. This is wrong, rude and ILLEGAL. The entire neighborhood was happy their garden bed finally got done and it is extremely clear this unlawful client has not a single clue about landscaping. I will be going over today to file a police report if possible as well.
