On the 24th of April 2024 I entered into a contract to have the company replace a leaking discharge trap on the bathtub. Contract price was $938, which I paid the same day by personal check. When I went to use the tub on the 25th I noticed it was damaged. Tub was chipped and had three scratches in the enamal - one quite deep; the other two shallow. I called the company immediately and was assured yhat "the plumbing manager, Joseph, would be reaching out to me." I have not heard from anyone regarding this issue. I simply want my tub repaired.

Used them prior, was pleased. A yr later clogging laundry drain, older house, non updated, Was informed that drain piping to the main line needed replacement, my toliet would have to be removed/replaced, the bathroom floor would have to be torn out along with a section of my laundry room floor and a wall would need to be knocked out for accessing. Was quoted 3 days of work at $5800, job was financed for $6789. Repair was done in a day and a half started on Dec 5 2021. Neither the bathroom or wall were ever touched, only a fraction of the original piping actually needed replacement, yes new drainage was installed where the laundry room concrete needed to be jack-hammered and re-concreted, but it was nowhere near the initial repair level I was told would have had to be completed. After leaving on day one the drain hose from the furnace was left on the floor which led to over saturated freshly poured concrete, had I not walked down that night to check the progress after they left it would have been a disaster. Made them aware of it the next morning and was told everything would be fine yet the marks are still present. The plumbers would often leave then return, I'm guessing to drag out the simplicity that it ended up actually being. After completion I was emailed a receipt of $0, when I asked why I was told it was because the repair was paid before it was started. It has been over a month of attempting to contact them about the situation and I still cannot receive a receipt, breakdown of parts and labor or any correspondence other than being told every time I call that a note has been made on my account and that the situation has been marked as urgent.

I spoke with ** ***** regarding the service performed on December 6th. Unfortunately when he called in to our office his message did not come directly to my email like it should. I apologized for the delayed response from our management team. We discussed the original quote and then the actual work completed. I showed him how we completed the scope of work just as it was quoted. I also emailed him copies of all of his invoices regarding this service. He was receptive of the conversation and he accepted a complementary A/C Maintenance in the spring of this year. We thank him for choosing Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and I'm confident there will be no issues with future service.
