My husband and I closed on a house December 1st 2022 We were first time home buyers. On December 26th our furnace broke after the really cold (real feel -30 degrees) We called the home warranty people to find out that we didn't have an account. Called this title office to find out they never sent the check in. They miraculously found it on their desk the same day we called about it almost a month later! We had a 10 year old, and I was pregnant so not getting it fixed wasn't an option. So we didn what we had to do and took a $10,000 hit to get heat in our home, as first time home buyers. The lawyers title office refused to take any responsibility for their mistake, I wish i would have knew about this website and researched to read the other comments on here. I hope they miss all the opportunities to do this in the future, no body deserves this!Review from Todd P

I was the seller and closed on a Friday... the title company did not bring a check and did not indicate prior to closing it would be a 'dry' closing. He guaranteed wire transfer same day or worst case following Monday. It is now late afternoon Tuesday and no funding has occurred. They have not contacted me at all - when you call all you get is a recording. They have also let the buyer occupy property the day after closing.Just a bad situation on a home valued at over $950K. A title agency needs to be thorough, accurate, and honest. They failed on all (3). Sad I have to hire an attorney to get paid and to get my mortgages paid off.

So sorry this happened to you. We had computer issues at the time with our closing software, and weren't able to process files normally. For the 20+ years I've been here, this was a one time issue. So sorry you had to experience it with us.
