Date:5/6/2024 - My husband and I were promised a Anniversary cake and the owner is not delivering on her promise. Laura R**** Lee is not answering my phone calls, text messages and she keeps the door locked to her bakery. I checked Facebook and there is many complaints, and posts from angry brides and couples who have paid her and she is not delivering cakes after taking their deposits. We received the cake late to the our wedding and she gave us a coupon to redeem our 6in 1yr Anniversary cake in the same flavor and cake design as the wedding cake. I have been calling every few days she will answer or return my calls. I am stuck and don't have any way to contact her. Its a shame that she is ripping off these couples because its expensive to have weddings in these times of inflation. These local families are owed a explanation or to satisfy her company's promise delivering quality orders. I see why, these couples are so angry!!!!!!!!!!!!! Add us to the list..Customer response

I spoke with the new owner Laura Beth R**** regarding my complaint, She is honoring the contract from our wedding 5/6/2023 and is delivering the our promised Anniversary cake this Friday 5/31/24.Initial Complaint

date 9/1/2023 (wedding) paid - $803 She was supposed to deliver a custom wedding cake by 5:00pm. she arrived at 7:30 and had to decorate the cake at the venue where we got married. The owner arrived 2.5 hours late. The cake wasn’t finished. She was decorating the cake at 7:30pm In the reception area. My wedding started at 6:00. The reception started at 8:00. The cake stand arrived at 8:00pm. The staff from the venue had to assist her and stand near the cake with gloves on to prevent it from falling. The business owner has not responded to any message nor has she tried to resolve the matter.Customer response

I have attached all of the items that she provided me. She never gave me anything else besides the deposit slip to secure my date and i attached the Zelle request that she sent us confirming what we ordered and the contract/wedding date.
