      Threatened By Marselius today after my review We purchased a round trip Seattle to Istanbul on March 6th for March 16 depart and 3/26 return . We received a text from Lufthansa 1 segments of our return flight Munich to Chicago is cancelled do to Strike . I called lookupfare.com immediately customer service denied and said your flight confirmed do not worry I told her Lufthansa web site shows cancellation and replied do not worry , next day I received another text from Sunexpress and said due strike your Istanbul to Munich flight cancelled . I called again lookupfare again he denied any cancellation , on 3/25 lookupfare called and said your flight cancelled but do not worry we are looking for alternative flight for you after long wait they said nothing available on 3/26 but don't worry we will find a flight then offered Air Lingus and Emirates flight which is more then $1800 one way return flight on 3/28 . While I was on the phone with them I find tickets on Turkish airlines $1364 for two on 3/26 he said those are stand by tickets and not confirmed while I was on the phone with them those tickets sold out , finally I had to spend another 2 days in Istanbul pay for hotel and food and missed 2 days from work and solution given you may received some $600 to $800 total refund . Terrible company if there are no star available I will give them 0 star .I got a call from luukupfare today and got Threatened by Marselious if I don't take my fair review they will block my refund which I will be receiving from United Airline. I want my refund and lost of work compensation and expenses I made extending my stay

      I booked a fare for my brother through lookup fare.com which is full of fake promotions and unprofessional and dishonest representatives. I booked the fare and next day they star calling or emailing reporting that the fare went up so they give you a new quote which is 4 times more of what you paid for it.But because they have your credit card information they booked the fare even when you said not. I realized a few days after the credit card statement showed it. I called and they just say that I needed to talked to the person who did it to resolve the issue.I called the credit card company to resolve the issue still debating it. how is that from 300 went to 1,2 00 and change plus 59 dollars for agent’s fee. This is abusive and I never received the itinerary.Please run away from these fake promotions online and process booking through airlines if you want to avoid experiencing this kind of issues. thank you

      We had a horrible experience with this company. We had originally booked a flight to go on vacation when we received a call and email stating that our flight had gone up by $100. At this time, we rejected and wanted our refund when we were told that it wasn’t possible to get a refund on our flights back. After this experience with this company, we also had fraudulent activity on our credit card.

      My son and I booked a flight on Lookupfares holding. I placed my debit card info on the website and received a booking confirmation via email and text message only to receive a call stating that the price has changed from the amount confirmed. After discussing that I have received the confirmation that it has been booked, the gentlemen stated that everything was fine and that it was fixed. Only to get a call back later stating that my card was declined for the initial purchase (even though there were funds in the account enough for it). Now stating that the price has gone up from 117 a person to it being 400 a person. I now have had to pay $400+ more than the initial amount without there being a possibility to get any other flight. leaving my trip ruined because now I do not have any money for our experience. Terrible management and customer experience.

      I made a reservation at 9PM Tuesday night. Wednesday, at noon, I noticed the hold was still on the credit card and that there was no charge. So, I called the 800 # and spoke with Juan at extension 1004. He explained that my reservation was on hold because the price I was quoted was for economy class at $117 per person, and that only main cabin is now available at $347 pp. I was hestitant, but he said I can cancel within 4-6 hours, don't worry. 3 hours later I called after speaking with my husband, and asked to cancel our reservation. Juan said I could not cancel because the process on his end was too difficult. I replied I will hold on the line, please cancel. He insisted that he can not cancel, that he will give me a credit with the agency instead. I said, NO! Cancel my reservation. He literally, said "I will not cancel. You are getting a good deal!" I asked for a manager, who "supposedly" cancelled. Worst customer service ever, especially when my reservation email and the website say "Reservations are fully refundable if cancelled on the same day of making the reservation ....& within 24 hours of making the reservation ( for travel originating in USA )."

      I'm am very upset with this company. I booked the flight for my mom and added insurance so that I can at least get back half the money and instead kept all my money. Why would they ask for a insurance for any emergency cancellations and they then turn around and not give me anything back at all. This company is a joke and no one should be getting any flights from them. They are a bunch of thieves and should just be shut down. They are playing with peoples money and taking it as a joke. Its unfair to anyone who is struggling. I have a 55 Year old mom with dementia and get help from my aunt who is in Florida as I work full time and have three children companies like this should not be doing any type of business. They get no stars.

      I booked my first flight through look by fare and within a few minutes received a phone call from a foreign man, trying to change our flights and charge more money. He had me on the phone for a long time, wanted me to fly a different day, different destination, charging different fees and so forth. I was very suspicious and refused to make any changes. What was alarming was he had our reservation number and credit card number. I’ve never had this type of experience before.
