I did not have a good experience with her representation. She was late 3 times & once a no show. 2x because of her, my trial had to be rescheduled. She was in trial texting about other cases, when phones were asked to be put away. She got smart and rude with the judge. The bailiff was staring at her looking annoyed that she was on her phone. The judge was acting annoyed with her as well. She was not up to date with my case before arriving to court and always had to be updated upon her late arrival or the 1 time she was not late. But she wanted to be paid for these sub par mediocre services. This is the only time that I did not get to speak on the stand & she did not advocate for me at all. I got screwed in my child custody case because of this woman. She went in the discussion room & folded. Just sat there, didn't fight & told me to comply with everything. I had to defend myself against the other attorney, my ex and the GAL. As a survivor of domestic abuse, and I had a recent miscarriage, I felt re-victimized. She would call me with what she will say in court, stating that all the things my ex was doing would work against him in court. She gave me false hope and screwed my life over. I even made an entire binder ready with documents & information that she needed. But, I guess why would she care, it's not her life. Who would pay for this kind of service or representation. Wasted any time and money that I spent. I wish there was a different outcome but she cause a lot of pain for her lousy representation. After my experience with her I told people that I recommended her to, do not use her services after sharing my experience. I wanted a Black woman attorney & she was the worst experience I had in court.
