After 68 years on the planet, with countless purchases and suppliers, Midwest Kids is already on my short list of the worst companies to conduct business. My first attempt to order a Christmas gift for my son was early December. Midwest Kids immediately charged my credit card, but I received no email confirmation of the transaction. After waiting a week, I messaged them only way to contact, no customer service phone number, to report the problem, but no answer. Trying again to salvage his gift and still make the holiday I ordered a second time. Of course no in delay hitting up my Visa, but this attempt did result in a confirmation. They said it would be 3-4 weeks to process and ship. That was two months ago, with a couple follow up emails from me, for updates. Midwest Kids conveniently does not have a customer service phone number, so must rely on a "contact us" address. From my experience, since they never seem to reply all accountability is avoided. My only outlet at this point is to post on sites and warn others. I will certainly mention the failures in my case, but more importantly their substandard communication and service capability. Successful business is built on integrity and a reputation, which will generate referrals, they have neither. I only hope my reviews will prevent a potential buyer from making the same mistake. **** * ***** ************Initial Complaint

I ordered a sweatshirt from this company on November 27th, 2023 paying $84. Since then I have emailed the company several times with no response. I direct messaged them on Instagram and got a response saying my item would be delivered by Christmas. I still did not receive the item, I followed up with more emails inquiring about shipping and tracking number. I finally got a response through Instagram stating my item was going to ship and that was on December 28th, 2023. I have tried to contact the company several more times without any response and it is now January 8th, 2024 and I don't have a tracking confirmation or number. I also do not have my item. I'm asking to receive the item I purchased.Initial Complaint

I purchased 2 hats from Midwest Kids on April 20th, 2023. In my confirmation email I was told delivery could take up to 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks I had not received my order and I started to email Midwest Kids asking for an update on my order. They did not give me an update but gave me a code to get a discount off my next purchase which I was not going to do because I hadn’t received the items from my first purchase. I continued to inquire about my purchase on a weekly basis but my emails and messages on their website went unanswered. Finally 3 months had passed and I threatened to contact the better business bureau. The very next day they sent out half of my order (1 hat). I recieved it a few days later. I continued to inquire about the other half of my order on a weekly basis but I was ignored and I was unable to dispute the charge and cancel the order because my bank said too much time had passed since the purchase. I began to ask for a refund but was continuously ignored. I went to their Instagram page to warn other customers about my frustrating situation and they ended up blocking me from their page. After 5 months I contacted the federal trade commission to report them as a scam seeing as how 5 months had passed I had not received what I had purchased they refused to refund me and would not respond to any of my emails or messages. I let them know that I reported them and then finally after 5 months ( one day after I had told them that I reported them to the FTC) they sent out the other hat. It arrived at my house 3 days later on September 18th. It was not that hat that I had ordered. The hat they sent me was not even a hat that was offered on their website. I have tried contacting them dozens of times but their customer service is non existent. I would happily return this hat and get a refund (45$) or get the hat that I did order. I ordered a white hat and they sent me a brown one. The order number is order #****.
