3/12/2023 I was awakened to a knock on my door. To my surprise it was repomen. And they had my truck in the air. This is confusing as I've made the payments my account manager told me to make. I then show the repomen my last full payment on 3/3/2023. From talking to repomen I found out not only did my account manager quit but so did my last account manager. Included in this correspondence will be txt from my account manager and me. and last 3 payments made. This company didnt contact me to give me a new account manager. I was told someone called. I wasnt sent anything through the mail. My last account manager would call my jobs to find me as this is where I always am. This company has been trying to find ways to take my vehicle since day 1. My 1st account manager her 1st time speaking to me she was belligerent and hostile. And tried to repo vehicle then due to a miscommunication. I asked for a different account manager this Took over 6months for the company to do. This company has now taken my means of transport. I work 4 jobs and now they all are in jeopardy because of this business. Also to be noted. My 4x4 vehicle that should be on a flat bed was towed with the rear wheels up. This will harm my 4x4 drive and I will be seeking damages.

Good afternoon, Please find below Global Financial's response to the referenced complaint. This response was immediately emailed to the BBB upon receipt. After receiving your notice to close the complaint due to "no response", we researched and noticed the email had mistakenly been sent to a no reply email address associated with the BBB. In view of the foregoing, please accept this response to Complaint #********.

The customer made a payment 3/3/2023 for his regular payment amount. However, the customer was still past due and after repeated attempts to make contact the vehicle was repossessed on 3/12/23 for non payment pursuant to the terms of the contract. After the car was repossessed the customer contacted Global Financial in order to redeem his vehicle. To help the customer, Global Financial did not take the full redemption amount. Global Financial assisted the customer further by taking less than the amount agreed upon to redeem the car in order for the customer to pay his storage fee with the impound. Global Financial is very surprised that the customer would file a complaint taking into consideration that in order to help him the account was redeemed while remaining past due and still remains past due as of this writing. Any complaint regarding the repossession process must be directed toward the repossession company.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Global finance has shown a pattern of bad work practices.major Lack of communication. Business ran on emotions. I was without a account manager for 5 weeks. Before she left I was on a plan. I didn't learn that I had a new account manager til the day of the repossession. IN the last 2 weeks i've been contacted by 3 employees to get payment. At least 15times in comparison to the 5 weeks I was without a account manager I was contacted 3 times once by automated line stating payment is coming up. 2nd time Ms Mattie called and left a voicemail but didn't state I was behind. And a 3rd time they had someone come to my home to drop off a letter. Which I tried contacting my then non present account manager.  The repo happened on a Monday around 4p. I was told even though I just made a payment last week it doesn't matter. Whatever dealings I had with old account manager is null. Why wasn't the account  holder contacted? Then Tuesday I call to make a payment Ms Mattie told me my account t is over 30days late. I send her the screenshots of my payments and she still repeats her lie. She then tells me "global isn't in the business of repo-ing cars and I can pay to have my vehicle released when I come with cash. Wednesday I make it to global I pay the fee. And find out they tacked on a repo fee of over $400 And I'm told my vehicle is already at the auction lot. From then on global has shown their incompetent business practices. The new account manager Eric told me I'm no longer on auto pay not until I'm current. Changing the agreement without my consent or knowledge.  2 days later a payment tried going thru causing a od fee. Also found out thru Eric someone put a no contact note on my account. Why would there be a no contact on my account all of the sudden? A few days ago contacted my account manager Eric and scheduled 3 payments. He approved. But he never put payment thru. I found out now I can only contact Mattie the supervisor.  This company thru bad business practices has caused this issue. Why wasn't I contacted when I received a new account manager? Why was my vehicle at the auction lot hours later after I said I will pay? Why has the terms of my contract been changed without my knowledge or consent? Why is there such an effort to get a payment now but not before the repo? Why is there a no contact note on my file? I need the repo fees returned to me as this was a fraudelent repo. This person has been acting in a strange manner for whatever reason.

Once I got my car back a month later they told me the put a small car Honda engine in my Kia serento truck I ask them how can they put a complete different engine that’s for a car he pushed me out the office I got the car back it was driving to the right I called them and asked what happened to my car it wasn’t doing that before they told me they did not know I took it to my auto place he said they forgot to put clips under the engin which made it sit on the arm control bar which damaged the car Some more everyone said they didn’t want to talk. I spoke to my account rep Joann who was fired the next day after sending me the approval notice because it was for a complete different car a car that was 9,999 not a truck not a Kia all the loan info for the car was transferred to my Kia which didn’t make sense if they said the car was originally 15,000 why would the payment be the same also the approval letter said the car lot was paid over 8,000 that day the car has been sitting in my driveway since July because it is dangerous to drive engine is still sitting on arm control with no support this place is a scam and has another company called atlas it’s all the same company I’m am looking for others who have had these same issues

Global Financial is responding to the Better Business Bureau complaint no ********. Please be advised that Global Financial purchased the contract for the 2012 Kia Sorento from A1 Luxury cars. In response to the customer's comments regarding repairs, Global Financial recommends that the customer contact the dealership, A1 Luxury cars, to address any concerns regarding repairs.

Regarding the customer's inquiry as to the approval. The customer was approved for two vehicles and the contract we received from the dealership corresponds with an approval  for the 2012 Kia Sorento. It is confirmed that the customer is currently in possession of this vehicle (2012 Kia Sorento).   Global Financial never received an original retail installment contract matching the other approval we have on file.

Finance company is in partnership with dealership.. They constantly kept my car until the balance was in the negative. Once it was in the negative, they then said they would not fix it. Two months later they fixed it I constantly sent receipts from rental company, tried to pay them they then gave me my car after 2 months. Requested I pay them over $1,200. I let them know that I had been paying enterprise 400+, a week and that I couldn’t afford it in this process, they stalled fixing my car until it was too negative too be brought back. After 3 months of having my car from March too June , the car shop let me know the finance company has allowed them too fix the car. They gave me my vehicle back. The same day I called them and let them know they 1 ripped my whole car door off 2 they messed something up to where my heating / coolant system was broken as well as they didn’t put my battery back in, I almost died on the freeway.. after letting global finance know of this they simply said well when can you pay the 1,300 2 weeks later, they repossessed it. MATTIE went back and forth with car dealership telling them do not fix my car , then telling them after 3 months they were permitted too fix it. I had the displeasure of working with Mattie. I believe that’s her name, I asked her for corporates number she falsely told me she was the owner, which is not the truth she’s the manager.

Hello   I have reviewed the customer',s BBB complaint.     The customer's car was assigned for repossession because of non-payment.  The car was repaired by the dealership.   After repairs were completed and to help the  customer.   Global Financial  released the car  to the  customer in default status.    The customer failed to make arrangements with the account manager: In accordance with the contract to pay, a decision to repo the car was imminent.

I never represented myself as being the owner.    I told her Global is a corporation.   She has an account manager and I'm the Supervisor.   If you need anything else please let me know.
