      Justwink auto-renewed, but the app isn't working, your can't get them to reset your password, and support emails go unanswered. I've paid for and loved this service for years and am so disappointed.

      I was charged for an automatic renewal membership without being notified. Prior to the charge, I noticed a charge was pending on my bank account online, but it was not in the name of American Greetings. There was a category cards, that caused me to log into American Greeting to investigate. The credit card visible on American Greetings expired in 2016. The bank would not assist until after the charge negotiated. I’m not sure how my account was charged. Once the charge posted the name American Greeting was shown. I reached out to the company & was told the renewal was automatic and no refund would be made, but the renewal feature would be turned off. I never set the feature. This is irresponsible, unprofessional and should be an illegal business practice. I noticed this unacceptable business practice is being done to others, as well. Shame on American Greetings.

      I paid for a subscription without being told that auto-renew is the default setting. I was never notified that the subscription was about to be renewed, I was just sent an email after the fact. When I asked to cancel was told that subscriptions are non refundable. This is very deceptive and should be illegal.

      I paid for an ecard and egift card for an older friend on April 25, 2024 not knowing that he did not have the capacity to download them. Once I discovered such, I emailed to American Greeting Cards customer service, twice, asking that the order be canceled, and the egift card sent to me to deliver to my friend. I have not received any acknowledgement of receipt of my emails or any other responses from the company.

Make sure the correct month is displayed in the drop-down. 5. If the recipient has not picked up the ecard, you will see "resend gift & ecard." Click that link to edit the recipient's information and add your email address, then resend your ecard and gift. You will not be charged again.       They just merged with Justwink. The Justwink company had just taken my $ for the year subscription. Now I am out my $ and no longer have an account. Horrible customer service as well.

      i ordered a card for 6.99. they charged me 29.99 plus taxes and signed me up for a full year with automatic renewal. I did not give them permission to charge anything except the 6.99 for my birthday card.. I keep trying to contact them to give me the difference back and take me off the auto renewal and nobody ever returns my calls. Please help me get this sorted out.

      I had the same experience with unannounced auto-renewal as others posted about. This deceptive practice should not be allowed - ever. I emailed the same day, cancelled my membership, and they still refused to refund my money. I will never use their service again and will be sure to not buy any of their cards in stores. They truly do not care at all about their customers.

      American Greetings sent me an email telling me they had "auto-renewed" my membership for two additional years. Yet they did so, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION to do so, nor notification in advance that they were going to. I emailed telling them to remove me from any auto-renewals since I had not authorized any, and to refund what they had charged me. I received an email telling me that I ought to "enjoy my membership" as it was now through 2025 and that my membership was non-refundable. My actual complaint was not addressed. It is a shame that the company has so little faith in its own product that it must engage in duplicitous business practices to retain their client base. I will attempt to stop payment via my CC company. Shame on these guys.

      For some reason, American Greetings e-Cards do not work well with ********* *****". In years past, someone in the IT department was able to trouble-shoot and help me navigate a problem in order to access the electronic versions of American Greetings cards. Nowadays, very basic people are hired from other companies as "customer service" advocates with very little experience or knowledge on how to be software experts. It's a sham, but also, it's a scam. I have cancelled my membership and I want everyone to read this. Do not trust this group, this corporation to be able to help you problem solve if you have some software security issues, or difficulty getting "their system" to allow your access to "their products". Please make a note of this. I am saying THEIR SYSTEM and THEIR PRODUCTS. So they are accepting membership fees, but have no clue as to help you experience what they are selling. This shows complete and absolute incompetency, disregard for the buying retail public, blatant greed and again, I'm just going to put it out there....you cannot continue to give these kinds of businesses your money when they don't come up with the support service. That means, they need to PAY to have the necessary experience in departments who can help. But they don't. So this is a scam company which makes its core products by selling retail cards at stores. The electronic version of American Greetings is just extra money to pay for utility expenses. But they hire no one to help anyone, and that makes it lights out. Good-bye, American Greetings.       I started what was supposed a 7-day free trial membership on April 8, 2023, where the site (and email they sent) indicates "you may cancel at any time before trial period ends and your method of payment will not be charged". I had used a promo code for a 20% discount, which their site seemed to accept. When I joined, I could not tell if they were going to include the 20% discount when billed as only the payment method shown for my account information at their site. When I sent my first ecard on same day (April 8, 2023), American Greetings immediately billed my credit card the full amount, without the discount. This was the first day of my 7-day free trial membership. Their site did not include a spot to cancel the trial membership. I sent emails to the company starting April 8, 2023, asking how I could cancel trial membership, and get a refund, which they did not respond to (It is now April 12, 2023). I called the phone number listed at their site, where I got a message saying the phone number was "temporarily" closed. I have submitted a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. That is why I did not submit a complaint to BBB for this. I wish I had read the comments here at BBB before I started a membership with this company.
