  I was having issues with my sump pump and the city of North Ridgeville told me if I needed a new one some parts of it are legal now so I would have to replace those which is a water back up sump pump. I contacted a plumber that people were using in my development I found off Facebook marketplace he came and replaced my sump pump, I was charged $2160 I recently had another plumber out to do some other work that I normally use and he said he replaced the water back up sump pump which is illegal with a new water back up sump pump and I have the receipt showing that is exactly what he did and now I have to pay to have it all replaced.

  I talked to her about a powered sump pump.  I gave her what she wanted.  If she was having issues with it, some weird noise.  She said that it was illegal in the city of North Ridgeville.  I didn’t know that. I had put 3 or 4 in, including hers. If she was having an issue, she should have called me back.  When there are issues, I go right back. She supposedly had a plumber in her house working on the ice maker line.  I guess he spoke up and told her that it was illegal so she hired him to redo the system again. I don’t know what he did or what he put in.  But, I’m assuming he put a battery backup because that’s what people do.  She called me up and said that this guy this work.  I asked why she didn’t call me out.  First of all, if its illegal I would have made it right.  I would have yanked the pump out and put a battery system in there. You can either get a wire powered or battery backup system. If she would have called me, I would have put in a battery system in.  But no, she hired this guy.  I don’t know what he did to it. I stand behind my work 100%. She did not call me and give me the chance to make the repair.  I stand behind my work, I would have made it right. My model is to make the customer happy.  I have told her that I will split it with her.  I’ll give her half of the money she paid, but she wanted $1500 for it.  I told her that I would get back to her after talking to my vendor.  I told her that I would give her a call and she asked me to text her.  I sent her a text and said I would give her $1500 back, but I wanted my materials back because I’m getting credit on them. She said she didn’t know where my materials were at.  I’m still willing to refund the money if the materials are returned.
