I cannot recommend this company enough. We have had our solar for 4.5 years and could not be happier with their friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service. They were, and still are, always available to answer any questions. Going solar with YellowLite is one of the best decisions we have made as homeowners.Review from Caron K

We had a 60 panel ground mount system installed in December 2018. I am so grateful for the time that Yellowlite spent with me before we committed to solar. I had so many questions! Since installation, their customer service has been exceptional. Only a few minor issues since 2018 that were all timely resolved (including a groundhog attempting to chew through a cable!). I 100% recommend YellowLite to anyone considering solar.Review from Sarah T

Yellowlite installed a first array of panels on my home about 7 years ago and then added panels to my garage when we bought an EV and switched to an electric heat pump versus a gas furnace. Both times installation and customer service were great.Review from Christopher L

Buyer BEWARE: NO POST-PROJECT SUPPORT I contracted Yellow lite in 2020 to install a larger grid-tied commercial solar array on the roof of my single-story building after bidding the project to multiple contractors. Yellowlite was very responsive, provided good information and assurances of future support. I was informed that should I require roof work that my warrantee would not be voided on their system as long as I contacted them to remove it/reinstall it. Their representative JESSE ****** has made it quite clear, they do not want to perform this service, has asked me to contact alternative solar contractors, confirmed that in doing so his warrantee would be voided. He explained (in writing) that their focus is on NEW customers and NEW projects (supported by the 2-3 emails a month requesting I recommend them for a kick-back credit for referrals and trying to sell additional solar products). So while my 3 year old system that was warrantied for 10 years service/labor and 25 years hardware needs to be removed/reinstalled after my commercial building has its roof replaced; they do not wish to support past projects. If you choose to contract them: ensure you get in writing what they will and will not do for you AFTER the initial project is complete. VERBAL ASSURANCES will not be honored.Customer Response

UPDATE: Since posting my more negative review; Yellowlite has reassigned my account to another manager who seems sincerely committed to assisting me in resolving my concerns and addressing my needs. Brandon has reached out to me, explained current abilities to assist me in my endeavors and clarified what they would need from me (communication and time schedule from other contractors of other trades). I feel reassured at this point that Yellow-light would like to do the right thing and support me in maintaining their work as my needs are being addressed.Review from Tim K.

I develop and manage construction projects for a living, so when it came to researching solar power I took my time. I spent a few months seeking information from multiple sources from every corner of the internet, hours on the phone around the country, tradesmen I work with and know personally, to salesmen in my kitchen. Of all the time I spent, only one company ultimately stood out as a potential candidate. As of today, my solar power system has been running efficiently without issue or fault for a little over a month. I dealt with no subcontractors and I appreciate every employee this company sent out as well as those I only spoke to from afar. Yellowlite has a fantastic team of individuals who conduct themselves professionally and with humility. I can not say whether or not solar power will work for you. What I can say is that if it will work for you, let me save you a lot of time, a lot of trouble, the headache of sorting through the scams and the nuisance phone calls that follow, and share this company with you. And for those that only care about the cost? Yellowlite was the best bid for power provided. Thank you for a job well done. -TimReview from Tom G

1. Installation fine. 2. Follow-up for warranty coverage: sucks 1. 6/17/22 Contacted about software not working 2. Service technician sent out 3. On July 22nd, a replacement part from Tesla arrived. 4. On August 10th, I was INFORMED via email that you would be "in the area". No attempt to arrange a date and time. 5. I immediately answered with a suggested date and time. NO RESPONSE YET VIA E-MAIL, TEXT, OR THE IMPOSSIBLE PHONE CALL. 6. It is now August 23rd and STILL no contact and now we leave for 3 weeks for vacation. *** **
