This “company” is a quick money grab scheme. They lied to me about AAA not being able to take my car so they could take it and lock it up and charge me $640 to get back. I could have had it done free but two Rush employees lied to me bc they didn’t want me to use my AAA so they could profit of me.Business response

This customer was never lied to about using their AAA benefits. We do not work for AAA. The employees on scene simply stated that we do not work for AAA but she could possibly turn it into AAA for reimbursement but we do not work for them so they did not know. This is not the type of winch out/tow that is covered under a standard AAA policy. Typically, this accident would have been taken care of by the customer's auto insurance. This customer only had liability insurance so they were responsible for the tow and storage fees. We were dispatched out at midnight by the police department to the accident scene to remove the vehicle. The customer could have made other arrangements but failed to do so therefore the police had to have the vehicle removed. The vehicle was suspended on top of a cable overtop of a fire hydrant. This required an additional truck to be called out to help remove the vehicle without damaging it or the fire hydrant. This also took knowledge and skill by our employees to remove it without damage. We have pictures attached to this as well for reference. This customer and her entourage were treated with respect each encounter we had with them. The charges were thoroughly explained to the customer and are the same for everyone. We work for the police/sheriff/state patrol and they verify our rates frequently to avoid price gouging. The customer wanted us to change the name on the invoice to someone else's name to use their AAA benefits or to not be liable for the accident but we can only deal with the registered owner of the vehicle. The owner was also not the one driving the vehicle at the time of the accident it was her young daughter. There is no opportunity for a refund. The services provided were accurately charged for. Its unfortunate that this customer feels the need to leave us bad reviews on all platforms for simply doing our job. We will continue to provide honest service at a fair rate. We understand when customers deal with our business they normally aren't having the best day with breakdowns/accidents but we have a job to do and the services we provide are not free.
