I moved into **** ** ***** lane as of 9/1/21. I was told by the property manager ***** that the apartment was cleaned and ready to move in but the bathroom floor because it needed to be replaced. I moved into an apartment that was not cleaned and was full of cat hair which I'm severely allergic to. Cat hair was in the fridge, on and in the stove, in the cabinets as well as all over the apartment. The hot water heater barely functioned and made a loud knocking noise when ran any water. I barely had hot water to bathe myself and my child. Upon signing my lease I discussed a possible job offer in another state with ***** and she advised if I needed to move just provide a 30 day notice as listed on page 1 of my lease agreement. While I lived there non of the repairs that I advised the leasing office of were made. No phone calls were answered or returns leaving me no choice but to seek other options for the well being of myself and my child. At the end of November I spoke with **** at corporate because I received no response from ***** about a new job opportunity I accepted out of town. **** advise I could vacate the property as long as I provided a 30 day notice. On December 27th I emailed **** to follow up and verify that the notice was received. ***** was copied on the email and confirmed that she did receive a copy of the notice and had me setup to move out as of 12/31/21. I dropped the keys off on 12/31/21 and requested a walk -through to ensure I was not responsible for any damages. I received an email from ***** saying that there were no damages and that I would be contacted once it was rerented. I paid Jan and Feb rent because I was told by **** at corporate that it is still vacant. Upon calling the office I talked to the new manager who said they have a 2 month waist list for one bed apartments and that ***** never had my apartment cleaned and assigned to be rerented. I've requested a call from corporate several times and have yet to receive a reply.
