They did my paint job, but it began to chip. They re-did but the molding wasn't sticking so I took it back and asked for it to be fixed properly. I still don't have my truck my to this day.Business response

Consumer took vehicle in for repair after an accident. They did a good job but also did a lot of damage. They damaged the radiator and dented the hood. On Feb 1st, consumer picked up vehicle and drove home, and saw smoke coming out of car. He drove the car back to MAACO and manager realized it was broken but just said he would talk to employees about the dents in the hood. Consumer left and paid $163 for a radiator at an auto parts store and put it in himself. Later **** the manager at MAACO, said he could have gotten one for $80. He also said he'd talk to his employees and call consumer back but it has been 2 weeks and he has heard nothing since.Business response

Customer has a very old vehicle. We repaired the damage per the insurance company estimate. The repairs were completed satisfactorly. ..Cust came back in and said his radiator was leaking. This was not associated with the accident repair. I explaied to the customer that nothing happened at the shop to cause this. I said I would talk to the employees to see if anyone had caused any damage and get back to him if they had. No one indicated they had.. .Customer response

Consumer mailed attached handwritten note and copies of additional documentation. BBB has transcribed the handwritten note below:
I'm sending you the estimate, payment receipt and pick up receipt. The only work I saw was done is the new bumper and new fender. The rest of the wok on the estimate was not done. State Farm Insurance paid $1,051.96 according to State Farm's estimate. MACCO could of ask for more money, but choose not to. Payment for work done is between MACCO and the insurance company.
This is a insurance job.
