I found TNT Resurfacing and Remodeling through a google search. When I initially called I spoke to a woman. I later found out from the employee that I spoke with an out of state call center. I asked her if there was a warranty on the work and she said yes, one year. I paid a 50% deposit over the phone. They came out on 2/18/22 and the employee (I don’t recall his name) did the prep work. Then the owner, Larry, came and did the finish work. They told me they had to charge additional to put some bondo in the bottom of the tub to fill some of the cracks as well as another additional fee to come back out and recaulk it the next day. I agreed, the work was done and I paid in full. I left to go out of state two days later and so the tub didn’t get used for over a week which gave it abundant time to cure. I have followed all cleaning and care instructions. I was told it would hold up unless I did something like “drop a hammer in it”. Less than two months later I noticed 2 small spots where it was peeling, I tried calling Larry and left multiple messages. He actually answered one day and told me that he got my messages but that he was out of state and to call him back on 5/9/22. He assured me that he’d “been doing this for 26 years” that he would make it right. I have tried to call multiple times. I sent texts and left messages , sent pictures of the damage (there are a total of 4 spots peeling now) and asked him to please just make it right. No response, even after I stated that I would be filing a report with the BBB. It is clear he has no intention of making good on his word or honoring the warranty, I paid over $600 total and would like my tub fixed or my money back.Business response

7.11.2022, BBB called business ###-###-#### spoke with Larry. He said he is working in Cincinnati, OH and will be there until mid August. He asked that consumer call him on August 17th when he is back in Columbus.Customer response

Larry gave me the same speil when I initially contacted him about the issue.
At that time he told me he was working out of state and told me to call him on Monday May 9.I did as he asked and he failed to answer any or return any of my calls or my husbands.
He did not reply to any voicemail or text messages either. I gave him ample opportunity to do so.
As of this date he still has not reached out and I have absolutely no faith that he will follow throughon his word this time either.
