We took our son's iPad to CPR Polaris to have a screen repaired as it was cracked. On or around 9/15/2022 we paid $150.49 to have this screen replaced. Within 1 hour of picking up the device, the home button was pressed in and would not come back out. We are very confident that this was the result of the repair as the iPad was used for at least 3 years prior to the repair with no issues. The button being pressed in and not coming out caused the LCD to become defective because the button likely pushed against that part of the iPad. Prior to this repair we had no issues with either the button or the LCD. Our ideal resolution would be for CPR to fix the LCD and the screen into proper working order, which is what we had paid for in the first place. Currently CPR is attempting to charge $150 for the repair of the LCD which was caused by their defective repair.
