I was contacted by mail from Zieg Law firm on an account that is past due. I will handle that. My problem is that I disputed the account because of the balance and They mailed me my social security card and my drivers license in a letter, Nothing blotted out! I live in a horrible neighbor hood where most of the mail boxes are broken into weekly. My information has been compromised. I am very upset that they send my information out like this. This information should have been sent by private mail or the numbers blottedBusiness response

Mrs. ******** made a request to our office, through **********, for all documents pertaining to the current subject matter be mailed to her current residence. By law we provided the documents to her. We apologize if this has caused any inconvenience. We are more than happy to update our records to an address or PO Box that is more secure. In an effort to show good faith, and for the inconvenience this may have caused, we will have the disputed information removed from the credit reporting agency. This Process can take up to 45-60 days to complete.

I am BEYOND angry! I have never received ANY type of correspondence in writing from this so called "law group".
Some guy named ******* called me Saturday while I was attending my daughters performance stating they were "hired" by a loan company out of Universal City Texas and are seeking the money owed to that company.
Well, I called that company they are referring to as I knew exactly who they were talking about. This was over 6 YEARS ago. The manager said they have never heard of Zieg Law Group, LLC and NO they did not hire them nor have ever spoken to them and that this debt was sold off 6 years ago and they have nothing to do with it.
So, #1 lie and misrepresentation of a business, which I have recorded!
#2, this same gentleman ******* calls my place of WORK that same day and left a message on my WORK VOICEMAIL!!!!! I am not allowed to receive any sort of calls at work, and I was just disciplined and written up at work for this ******* guy!!!!
I have been employed here 7 years and have never been in trouble, and now a damn debt collector, not a law firm gets me in trouble!! They are lying scam artist trying to collect on debts that are extremely old. They purchased this debt from another debt collector for pennies on the dollar and are now trying to threaten me into paying them!!
I am CCing this to my attorney per his orders, and if I lose my job or get in any more trouble I will open a lawsuit against this pathetic company. CEASE AND DESIST IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!! I do not want to be contacted by this establishment again!!!!!!
