Description: B2B Larry was hired to complete a renovation at ********* ********* ****** and did not complete the renovations as agreed. He has been paid for the entire project but has not finished the renovations despite being asked via email on 2 separate occasions plus a couple verbal conversations with the pastor. Larry Druggan has made no attempt to return calls nor has he made any effort to make good on his promises to complete the project.

Per voicemail left by Larry, he was forced to utilize a parishioner for some of the work. This parishioner didn't complete the work and Larry had to hire another subcontractor to do the work, causing him to lose money on the job.  It was communicated to the pastor that Larry is going to sue the parishioner for not completing the work and the pastor asked him not to. The loss to the business was roughly $17,000.

      Customer response

      05/15/2023

I am rejecting this response because: Larry references "Parishioner" in his voicemail but the individuals Larry hired to do the work only attended the church for service and were not "parishioners". Larry hired those individuals as independent contractors and as general contractor he is responsible for their work. The individuals in question did fail to do the work as agreed but that agreement was between Larry as the hiring manager and these individuals which were sub contractors. I am not aware of any agreement or statement from the pastor that supports suggesting Larry not sue the individuals. ********* ********* ****** has paid Larry's company for work not completed as agreed. I as building manager request that the vendor return and complete all work, including rectifying damage caused by water infiltration as a result of roof tie-in above pastors office. The office now has a must smell and there is concern of mold/mildew, which can result in heath issues.

********* is not responsible for the failed agreement between Larry and the subcontractors. We ask that the agreement with Larry be resolved at the earliest convenience with no additional fees assessed for doing so.

      Regards,

      ********* *** ***** ***
