On July 21,2022 in the am, I took my daughters 2020 Dell Inspiron in because it was not holding a charge. The young man said it was the DC **** and he would have the tech look at it and call me for repair approval. I did not hear back so I stopped in the next evening and ok’d repair the cost would be $128.98. I shared with him that I needed it back no later than July 25 because I had to take my daughter to college in North Carolina. Again I heard from no one so I stopped in on Saturday the 23rd of July. To my surprise it was not ready because they only have one tech and he wasn’t in. At that time I asked for my daughters laptop and I would have it repaired by the geek squad in North Carolina at that time I was told it was completely taken apart so I was stuck. I followed up on Monday the 25th still not ready. I preceded to take my daughter back to school the next day the 26th. I returned on the 27th no communication at all on Saturday the 30th I stopped in and paid for the repair although I had no clue it was ready. The following week I shipped the laptop to my daughter. This past weekend my daughter contacted me after completing band camp to tell me all her key pads were not working. I had her take it to the geek squad at Best Buy in North Carolina. At that time they indicated that the laptop had been tampered with and screws were missing and they didn’t know what else may be damaged and it would be better to purchase a new one although this one was only 2 years old. I purchased a new one costing me $693.00 dollars. I called custom computer warehouse and advised them of the damage to my daughters laptop. They disassembled my entire laptop I told them I wanted my $128.98 back. I feel they also owe me for the value of a 2020 Dell Inspiron. The service I received was absolutely horrendous. I look forward to an amicable resolution to this matter. Thank you,Business response

I apologize for the late response and any trouble you had with your repair.
To replace a DC ****, the system needs to be opened up and worked with the motherboard. If you would like, We will still cover your laptop under our warranty, We will happily look over your system and fix anything we missed in the repair. We are also aware that the geek squad often suggest that customers replace their system when it may not be necessary.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and are ready to fix or repair/replace any problem we might have caused.
