Have been going to this dentist for 13 years. Went for a cleaning on 08/09/2023 and was reminded that I need to have a crown. They provided me with a written quote which I signed indicating that it would cost me $543.50. I made an appointment to get the work done on 10/02/2023. Upon completion they told me the cost was $543.50 which I paid ( see receipt ) before leaving. At their office the total is due before leaving. On 10/10/2023 I received an invoice for $478.00. I called to tell them that I already paid for the crown, I was told they made a mistake and it was actually double the amount. Told them I would not have had the work done if I knew it was going to be $1,000.00. They said sorry for our mistake you owe the money. I feel that I signed a cost document for $543.50 and that is what I should pay.Business response

As Chief of Operations I have stepped in to review this complaint. What we found was a clear failure on our team members part (who is now no longer with our company) to review Mr. ********* dental benefits. We have adjusted the balance of this account off. There is now a -0- balance on the account.Customer response
