CBJ was contracted to install a deck on our property at *** ****** Dr. Etna, OH 43062. CBJ started working on our deck around mid-July 2020. The proposed finish date was in August, with the deck staining to take place before fall of 2020, and it is still not finished. Not only did we not get the total design that we requested and contracted them for, but we also have faulty work. We have been plenty patient with CBJ to this date, but with this project well over a year past due, they have ceased all communication. We are now left with moldy wood, multiple gates that are uneven and do not shut properly, rod iron that is not fully connected and peeling, different color stains in several areas of the deck, and a yard that is not fully seeded. They were also supposed to level out the river rock around the pool as well as add weed barrier to it. There are also some wood boards that are loose. The original quote that we signed for the project was $17,180.68 and we have paid CBJ a total of $19,184.54. They have promised to rectify our issues and finish the stain but have failed to do so as of today. We have previously reached out and have been told several times that we are "on the list", however, no dates were given as to when they would be out to fix any of the issues. In the last 3 months we have reached out several times and now we cannot get any kind of response. We have kept all text messages and will provide if needed.
