I purchased a motorcycle from this dealer paid cash over 3500$ 2007 Yamaha vstar 1100 30 days later after driving it 154 miles it started missing idle and fuel smell from exhaust and it stopped on me and I had to have jt towed to my house …when this problem occurred I called the owner of cycle Co he basically didn’t offer any resolution he said change out the spark plugs I had that done ? then the battery died I charged it and it fired up but it will not stay running .so I haven’t even had the bike long enough to get tags and it can’t ride because it stalls ..the owner basically didn’t even offer to help ..I will never buy again from him and his false advertising of CO certified pre own is false information the bikes look clean on outside but there is no real service done before I bought the bike he should have made sure it was fully operational beyond 30 days … when I put the money down to hold it the bike didn’t crank when I was there he said before he deliver he will have his technician look it over and get it started it ran good for a week after he delivered it then it started having fuel mixture issue and seem the carburetor was not cleaned I just won’t a running motorcycle after paying 3500$ cash for a so called certified pre own vehicle

This bike was purchased as is for $2900. When you called us, I tried to help you out with letting you know what to do to fix the issue. Then I never heard back from you again. You said that you rode the bike over 150 miles with no issues. If you would have call us back we would have tried to help you again, even though you bought this bike as is.

I am rejecting this response because: I called back he stated change plugs I did that the bike still wouldn’t start I had to have it towed he knew that when I called he referred me to the tow place James towing I paid 200$ to have it towed 1 mile to my house , then he said I drained the battery I bought a new battery it started and then died I had a professional shop diagnose the bike and the ecu computer ignition unit is bad and I changed the spark plugs and coils change the oil and new oil filter now they are saying my carburetor is bad and need rebuilt which is half the price I paid for bike I understand I bought the bike as is but I called within the thirty day period of buying the bike and now I had a dud of a bike that i basically have to rebuild to perfect because as certified pre own dealer he should not be selling motorcycles that break down I can see if this happened months or years down the line I rode the bike twice both trips were 70 miles round trip.. I feel I wasn’t told all the issues with the bike and it was labeled as perfect ride like new new this new that and the preventative maintenance wasn’t done the oil wasn’t changed the air filter was dirty the oil filter was old so this bike was as is he is correct but pre owned certified it wasn’t .
