      My car was being serviced at GERMAIN ford and it was broken into. **** the service manager said I was responsible for the damage. I said GERMAIN was responsible and he then told me he can’t control crime. I said you do control customer service and yours is ******. NEVER HAVE WORK DONE HERE. They don’t care about customer service just look at all the bad reviews they have.

      The dealership in Sidney OH charged me $233.00 and didn't fix the blower fan. Waste of time and money.

      BEWARE - DEALERSHIP SELLS USED CARS WITH KNOWN OPEN SAFETY RECALLS THEN FAILS TO DISCLOSE IT ON THE RECALL DISCLOSURE FORM AT THE TIME OF SALE!!! GERMAIN FORD sold me a used 2017 Expedition with a known safety recall that posed an internal fire hazard and failed to disclose it to me at the time of purchase. I actually learned about it through the CARFAX a week after the purchase. The “new recall” was associated with the AC blower. When I brought this to the attention of Mr. **** ***** (used car manager) even stated, “this isn’t a gotcha moment but you should've discussed this and reviewed the CarFax with the seller and one of the papers required for me to sign and should've reviewed closely was the recall notice and disclosure statement." We did review the CarFax and he (Mr. ******* *****) did not highlight the mentioned "open" CarFax recall - certainly not one where I feel I should've been notified specifically about purchasing a vehicle waiting for parts to resolve an issue where the "CLIMATE CONTROL FRONT BLOWER MOTOR MAY OVERHEAT, POTENTIALLY RESULTING IN AN INTERIOR FIRE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS ON" as it states in the CarFax email. I went back through the paperwork and I did sign a Recall Notice and Disclosure Statement, which has the box checked "No Open Safety Recall Indicated." While this practice technically isn't "illegal," it's a known unwritten rule of dealerships that this is bad practice that breeds a lack of customer satisfaction and erodes trust with its potential customers. Dishonest dealing and lack of accountability seems to be a systemic problem within the building. The only honest person I've been thankful to work with in the front half of the building has been Mr. **** ****.

      So to start the story off, my wife and I decided to buy a pre owned certified blue ******************************* color. Two weeks after buying the vehicle the alternator failed. We were then stranded in a parking lot and through the warranty the roadside assistance could not find my warranty which germain ford did take care of this but this took roughly 3 hours to get a tow truck. I was advised by germain ford to take the vehicle to whites **** to have the vehicle repaired. Upon arrival at whites **** I was met with confusion by the service techs stating that they do not work on ******s and **** does not have the technology to work on them. I then immediately called germain ford and he got with his service department and they stated that, that is correct they do not work on them. So then at that time I was agitated so I had to the ****** crosstrek towed to my house so I could fix it. I then found out that the alternator for the vehicle is out of stock everywhere. So **** then towed it to ***** ****** to have the vehicle repaired. It took and understandable few days for part arrival and the repair. We were then notified that the vehicle was ready for pick up on 6/28/2022 we told them we could pick it on 6/29/2022 the next day. Once we arrived at germain ford and picked the vehicle up and drove it about a mile down the road the battery light came on again we then had to take it back to ***** ****** for an inspection on the electrical circuit and the vehicle is currently there at ***** ****** and we are in a loaner AGAIN. Germain did pay for the new alternator and the battery but was a complete inspection done on the vehicle if they do not have the technology to work on the vehicle? This is completely ridiculous to have a vehicle for 2 WEEKS and have to have the alternator and battery replaced then be back in the service center for another electrical issue! Its almost not worth paying the first payment. When Ive had loaners more than the vehicle I bought!
