I have purchased quite a few items from CCOA and have referred many colleagues/family and friends. On July 21, 2023 I purchased a patio set from Jessica and Mick with J&M Wholesales/Auctions at 785 Frebis for my son who recently bought a home. When we picked up the items we were told there were only 2 boxes. Yesterday when we went to assemble the furniture and saw the instructions (see attached) we realized there are 3 boxes needed for full assembly. This was not advertised correctly (see below) I have seen items that specifically say only 1 box out of 2 or only 2 boxes out of 3 and this did not say anything to this effect or I would not have purchased nor would I have paid $200+ for it. I am hoping that you can either refund the money or provide the complete set with all 3 boxes and missing hardware/pieces.Business response

On July 21st, 2023, ***** ******* won lot number (85) for $201.00 after taxes and fees total was $248.49 from my online auctions on Capital City Online Auctions. I listed the item as follows – 4- Piece wicker patio conversation set. Retail Price- $640.21. Enjoy your leisure time on the patio or balcony with this 4-piece rattan sectional sofa set. Our 4-piece rattan sofa set includes 2 armchairs, 1 loveseat and 1 coffee table, which is perfect for gatherings of family or friends. Each piece of this set can be used individually or in combination, easily changed to different distributions based on your need.
APPEARS NEW IN BOX. ALL BOXES HAVE BEEN OPEN BY OUR STAFF TO ENSURE THE CORRECT ITEM IS IN THE BOX. PLEASE CHECK ITEM(S) BEFORE LEAVING OUR BUILDING. NO REFUNDS ONCE YOU LEAVE OUR BUILDING. UNSURE OF AN ITEM/COLOR PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINMENT TO COME TO THE PREVIEW!!! PLEASE NOTE OUR PICKUP HOURS- 10AM-2PM SATURDAY ONLY!
She emailed me August 30th, 2023, explaining she finally opened the item. It was missing parts/hardware. Also saying that there was supposed to be three boxes. The item listed above only comes in one box. I’ve sold several of these wicker sets. I replied to her email explaining our return policy as stated in the description listed on the auction post. After items leave our building, we usually do not give refunds. I told her I may have extra parts at my warehouse. I found her an extra glass top with the table and hardware package. She came to my house and picked up the table and hardware package. She was happy when she left my house and looked everything over, I gave her. Then I received another email stated the hardware didn’t fit correctly and now she’s missing a chair part a support bar for the table (which I gave her with the new table)
As stated on my auction post. PLEASE CHECK ITEM(S) BEFORE LEAVING OUR BUILDING. NO REFUNDS ONCE YOU LEAVE OUR BUILDING. UNSURE OF AN ITEM/COLOR PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINMENT TO COME TO THE PREVIEW!! Also, when Diane resisted becoming a bidder she agreed to the terms and conditions. Which is the following - In the event of a discrepancy of an item, the Buyer must notify our onsite staff at the pickup. Once items are removed from location, the Company and Buyer agree that no adjustment or refund will be made.

I am rejecting this response because: The business did provide me with some bolts that were not appear the right ones for the set so I ended up going to Lowe's to buy some that would work and the table she provided did not match the set at all which I told her when I picked it up but she said just keep it you can use it somewhere else.
After putting together what we could we the various pieces, I sent her another email requesting 2 missing pieces; a chair back and the right size support bar for the original table and have not received a response - please see 2 pictures attached.
