I received a letter in the mail from this business asking me to contact them if I would like to sell my house. I contacted them and asked them to remove me from their list. I explained I did not want to sell my home or receive any mail or letters from them. They continue to call me.Business response

I contacted this business in July to ask to be removed from their mailing list. I was told that I was removed, yet I continue to receive solicitations about cash offers for my home. My home is not for sale and I have not indicated an interest in selling to one of these types of businesses—and I never will, for obvious reasons, but also after the degree to which they have ruined any peaceable enjoyment of homeownership I once had. Given that this type of business is all about cold contacting people from lists of public information, one would think database management is a significant feature, not an afterthought. After all, if I sold them my home so they could flip it, they probably wouldn’t continue sending mail to the property addressed to me, right? So why is it so difficult to stop spamming homeowners who asked in writing for no further contact? I see that another person made a similar complaint and was told there was a “glitch” in removing people. If they knew this, they could have reviewed for similar “glitches” but I guess professional courtesy is not a priority for non-customers. Charming!Business response

We apologize for this customer not being removed from our mailing list. She has been removed and will not receive any more communication from our company. As mentioned in a previous response our removal system was not working correctly and that issue has now been addressed. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

I am getting harassed by this company wanting to buy my home. I have called and sent emails requesting my address be removed because my home is not and will not ever be for sale. Yet monthly I am getting letters from Tj M***** and Ann S***** and I feel harassed and intimidate by their disregard to honor my request to leave me and my property alone. I also feel Tj M***** is related to a Dave M***** whom I have had legal issue with in the past so he is harassing me due to that encounter. Either way or for whatever reason I want these monthly letters I now deem to be intimindating and harassing to cause sale them my home.Business response

We had a glitch in our system to remove addresses that has since been corrected we sincerely apologize for sending mail to people that ask to be removed. However, TJ M***** has never sent mail to this person nor is related in any way to Dave M***** so this is not a correct statement in any manner whatsoever. I did read the response sent by brooks h*******. I dont know this man. And he does not know what he is taking about. I did recieve letters from tj m***** i have all the letters i recieved from them. There is no glitch in the system. i have been going thur this mess with them since january. Now they have enlisted help from other we buy houses associates in virgina beach, cleveland, arizona and other we buy houses across the country. I got a call from 1757854**** a carla that works for we buy houses. Also calls from 1757765**** - 1757909****, and that is just a few. this ann s***** has enlisted help from her friends. And calls are coming from offices this ann woman works. what they did not say it they will leave me and my property alone.Initial Complaint

I have contacted this company and asked to be taken off their mailing list. I continue to receive mail. I have never done business with this company. I have opted out of marketing and solicitation through FTC, so I should not have received these marketing/solicitation mailings to begin. This company needs to immediately stop the mailings.Business response
