Beware of this business! I contacted CPR Drain Cleaning on 3/5/23 regarding a backing up tub and sink at 2 of my rental units in a triplex. They arrived on 3/5 for emergency service because it was a Sunday and cleared the sewer lines, snaked the sink and ran water, clearing out sludge and hair. The following day (3/6/23) my tenants informed me that the sewer was still backing up so I called CPR again to explain the problem had not been fixed and I needed them to go back out, which they did after arguing with me about it. They cabled the sewer line only. Two days later on 3/8, my tenant informed me that the sink was backing up again. I called CPR and they argued with me again about having to come out. On 3/10, my tenant called me to let me know that a gurgling noise was coming up from the sink. Since CPR had just been out, I figured they only made a small hole in the line instead of clearing it out completely. I spoke to CPR on 3/17 to explain how dissatisfied I was with the service and I was informed that if they had to go back out I would be charged. This is completely unacceptable. They were adamant that they returned two times to fix issues. They returned one time for the sewar and one time for the sink and the issue is still not fixed. The woman I spoke to told me that they only come again for the same issue once, at no charge – any subsequent visits would be charged. That is not indicated anywhere on their website, or on their work orders. Not only that, but my credit card information was written on the work order and you can’t do that with sensitive customer information! If they had fixed the problem correctly the first time, then I wouldn’t have needed them to come back multiple times. Avoid the hassle and use another company.Business response

We at CPR Drain Cleaning take pride in the services we provide. This is not a reflection of our normal business practices, we have taken this time to review with our staff on our policy on handling problematic drains as we take pride in our customer experience and quality of workmanship and this is not a reflection of our everyday quality. We welcome an opportunity to make this right and after a good review of complaint we have decided to refund the customers money for all the services we provided that day. I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint. As a business owner myself, I understand that issues will arise but it is all in how the problem is handled. I really appreciate that CPR Drains took the time to review what took place and discuss the issue with their staff. I will continue to do business with them in the future.
