Prior to doing our gutter cleaning, ****** came out to give an estimate. She was friendly and chatty and shared that her son was super lazy and did not like helping in this business, but liked the money. She was right on there! On Monday, December 13, around 2:30pm they came. Did not clean all of the gutters at all—some too high and dangerous my husband was told. Shouldn’t that have been part of the assessment when ****** first came out to give an estimate? Did not clean up after themselves. Dropped the nasty debris from the gutters, that they did try to clean, on our driveway, on our AC unit, on our covered deck furniture as well as the deck itself, and all over our yard for us to clean up. At the time I gave her a Check for $109 + tax, I was unaware just how big a mess was left or how many gutters weren’t even cleaned. My husband had to asked the son to do a better job in a few areas. Leaves were left that would go right back into the gutters. The son also knocked a statue off my deck railing with his ladder, and never bothered to pick it up! Really amazing young man! NOT!! The guy we usually use charges $75 and does a complete job. Why did I not call him?? Presently, he is I’ll with covid. Had to pay someone else today to do a proper job and no mess was left. The kind of work we were provided was very inferior and something needs to be done

I came out to give a window cleaning and gutter cleaning estimate. Client decided to wait on window cleaning and only wanted the gutters done. When I gave the estimate client told me that they had gutters screens on the gutters, however this was not the case. At no time during our first contact did I state that my son was super lazy and did not like helping the business out. I have been in business since 1996 I would never disclose information like this. If I had said this why would any clients schedule with me? When we arrived to clean the gutters out they were full of leaves, mud and debris from the shingles. I informed them that since we were on 4 sections of ladders 27 ft in the air that I would not be cleaning up the mess because we cannot hold a bucket or bag at that height. The client did not say that they did not want the service done at any point in time. The husband followed us around the house, yes a couple times he asked to go back up and blow more off the roof. A blower can only do so such as the roof was not walkable. I, the owner was also cleaning gutters not just my son. There was a section of about 3 feet that could not be done because the ground was not level and it was not safe to put a ladder up. We did not leave leafs on the roof to fall back into gutters the roof was blown off. I have never had a complaint with you and have always made things right if someone calls me to say additional work needs done. However, there was no making these clients happy, the price quoted was for cleaning gutters that had screens on them not gutters that were packed with mud, water, leaves and roof debris. I didn't charge extra for the extra work that was done. Again in informed them that I would blow off back deck and driveway, I was not cleaning up the yard. If that was not acceptable then they should have said so in the beginning. Thank you for your time,

My issues with the owner, ******, are that she came to our home,  looked around and left an estimate for both the windows I requested to be cleaned and all gutters to be cleaned. In advance of arrival,  I told her we would just do gutters since it was getting so late in the year. She saw the roof levels, saw all the gutters needing to be cleaned when she came to give the estimate.Never said any areas would be a problem  I never told her we had gutter guards, and she would have seen that if she had done her job and looked so she could provide a thorough estimate.  My conversation with her the day she did the estimate was verbal, so it is her word against mine.  Her son being lazy, having a fear of heights, and not liking the business has nothing to do with performance and doing a proper cleaning of the gutters, so why would I lie. I am not a liar ever.  His laziness—her words and not mine—was evident to all who saw him cleaning the gutters and the results left for the following day clean-up.   I had a friend show up while they were here. He saw the mess we were left. If they had cleaned off the driveway, we would have had a bigger mess so I did it!  Why would you ever throw gutter residue on an AC??  She saw the roof areas and gutters she would be dealing with and should have said her company could not provide the service I needed the day she left the estimate—not come and charge me for a total cleaning that was not done. Never were told that do to roof heights, debris would not be collected. As I mentioned initially, I had the “unsafe areas” (her words) done by our normal guy the next day. He commented on the horrible job done and all the leaves left that would have gone back into the gutters.  I made this complaint so clients would beware and ask more questions so they would know what they were getting for their money. I will not recommend her business, Anchor Window Cleaning,  to anyone nor use her company again. I learned a lesson. Stay with companies you can trust, and ask more questions when going with someone who puts flyers in your mailbox! We paid for all gutters to be cleaned, not just part of them.  Gave her a ck upon completion.

My record stands for itself, however I refuse to go back and forth with this client. I apologize there where not happy with the service. I agree that they should just have the regular person clean going forward because they must have some equipment I do not. I wish them the best of luck.
