I contracted with Anthony S***** on 6.30.21 to build a combination pole barn/house. I paid him $100,000 in labor. He bought $20,000 worth of materials, and I paid fro the remainder. I contacted him weekly to help insure we stayed under budget. It was not until a week before completion that he said we were $38,000 over budget.
He finished three weeks ago. He left and said he would be in touch. He does not return any of my calls.
We've had two busted pipes because they were crimped wrong. We've taken the floor up twice. I have a plumber coming in this week.
Punch List:
he didn't level the yard and fill up dirt
plumbing issues, electrical issues, garage doors do not line up well enough to lock, trim work was not completed, failed to caulk around tub and showers, 40 x 10 concrete porch with holes in it and you can see through it, he cut the backs off of my $16,000 kitchen cabinets.
I called the references he gave me, and three numbers are disconnected, and one person said she was no longer using him.
