      At the end of May early June 2020 My lease ended with Them at the ravines at rocky ridge location located here in Columbus. I had paid a security depositBut was told that they would be sending it to my girlfriend since she was also on the lease. Well we had broken up during the end of the last few months of the apartment so I assumed she always was given the money because I had spoken to the apartment manager and they told me that they would send her to check. So at the end of August 2021 she contacts me and tells me she has a check for $721.20 which was the deposit. It turned out she hadn't gotten it either they had just sent it to her well beyond the lease agreement that we had signed when we would get our deposit. So on September 2021 the beginning of September, She signed the check over to me And I deposit in my bank It didn't go through so I took her with me to a branch with her ID so we can get it done in person and get it taken care of if that was the problem. The check was rejected because Kalo had placed a stop payment on it which we did not know until I called ***** ****. So in addition of being told I would get $721 of my deposit back along with the wasted gas money I was charged in additional $12 return check fee which I have the letter I have attached I called the office numerous times ex is called the office numerous times to speak with the person that says they're working on it we're always told they're working on it but we've yet to get resolution this is went on for 3 months now. They said that the system had sent out a bunch of checks and they had to put a stop payment on all of them what I would like is my original security deposit along with my $12 return check fee. We have been given to run around and the person of contact we've called is a place called portside apartments which all attached that phone number as well. Please help us get this resolved Doing a pandemic it's crucial that we get our money back that we are justly owed.

      I moved into portside apartments in January, was not able to see my unit prior to move in but told it was freshly painted and ready. The day I moved in I noticed water damage down the living room wall across the ceiling and by vents on the opposing wall. I contacted management the same day and submitted photos. After being told it would be fixed but no further communication I filed an online request and included photos. In April maintenance finally showed and said repairs would be made while I was on vacation so I wouldn't have to sleep with paint fumes. When I returned nothing had been repaired and I was told by maintenance they are short staffed. No emails or phone calls have been returned. October rent I put a check in drop box then received notice my rent was late and I was up for 3 day notice if not paid with late fees. Again no response from management. I put a replacement check with the quoted late fee in the box only for my account to show I still owe $5. Still no return call
