  Oct/Nov 2021 I had a driveway put in by this company at my residence and on or around the beginning of Feb. 2022 I noticed a crack in the driveway spanning across the entire driveway, from my front grass to the neighbors. I proceeded to call the company and on March 20 he finally came out to inspect the damage, he said there is nothing he could do for me, he stated that concrete cracks. I asked after only 4 months, he said it can crack after a day. I was not given any information about this until the day he showed up here to look at the driveway. He also told us that the cement that is wearing away is from the salt that the city puts on the streets and that is not covered either. So now I have a cracked driveway and a driveway that is full of pock holes from the salt that the city puts on the streets, yet the poke holes come up the driveway, not just at the bottom. He was not very professional at all. I paid almost $12000.00 for this driveway and this is how I am being treated for asking to get what I paid for. I also asked why the driveway was not sealed and he said it was, but it was not. The last person here the day they finished, hosed down the drive and left. He never said anything about a sealant on the driveway. I am not sure what to do, but if this is what all that money gets you, I feel cheated. Also no rebar was added to my driveway and when I questioned it, they said they do not use rebar that steel is in the cement. I find that hard to believe.

  First of all I did not give the owner a copy of our warranty until the day I stopped out to look at the driveway.  That was my mistake.

  
  

  When I looked at the Driveway there was a hairline crack that spanned the driveway.  However our Warranty will only cover a crack larger than 3/16" wide.  The Industry standard is 1/4". If it increases to 1/3" inch within the first year we will gladly replace that section of concrete.

  
  

  When looking at the Driveway there are signs of salt affecting the driveway.  This is affecting the bottom 3rd of the driveway closest to the Road.  The rest of the driveway and walks look fine.  Our warranty also states we are not responsible for Salt damage to the driveway.  

  
  

  We sealed the driveway right after it was poured.  Not the next day after  we sawcut and wash down the driveway.  

  
  

  As for the rebar, their contract explained that we use fiber mesh in the concrete.  We do not use rebar and there is no such thing as steel in the cement.
