I have had B. Makebakken do several jobs for me in the last year. He has been fantastic! The jobs have been done very well which is why I have repeatedly called him. Everything has turned out beautifully!

I won't give my opinion. I'll post quotes of things he said to us (we recorded the conversations after he became nasty with us, so these quotes are straight from those) when we questioned his work and let you decide."You are questioning professionals and how they do their job. (That's a problem.)"(This conversation occurred when he threatened to walk out on the job.)(*****) "I'm not going to be here for a week and go through a disaster like this." (My wife) "I thought we could have a professional relationship and I could ask you questions if I find something?" (*****) "I work in million-dollar homes and have no problems with anything." (My wife): "I can't believe you've never had anyone question something you have done." (*****) "You're nitpicking things apart." "I don't want to be here a week; You're not going to like my work anyway." (My wife) "But you're judging me, and that's not fair."(*****) "Of course there's poor lighting in here, it's hard to see a lot of it." (My wife) "I asked you if the lighting was going to be a problem and you said it wouldn't because you could use your lights." (*****) "I did use my lights. But there are times it's just harder to see."(He threatened to put a mechanics lien on my house after I refused to pay him before I got home to check his work first. We had already paid him $2000.)(**************) "You just want to be a ***** and not pay me."(We were told this job would take a week and he worked with one other guy one day and by himself the next one and a half and was finished. He lined up another job for Thursday.)(Me) "Can I record you right now?" (**************) "Nope. (Me) "Why not? Why are you afraid? You're doing everything right, why are you afraid to record yourself? Because you don't want your customers to hear."(**************) "You're an idiot!"(**************) "Your wife, I guess she's scared to death of you because she's in an abusive relationship, because she told me everything was great."(After I told him our "black" door looked like ****:) (**************) "You are a real a****** You are full of **** You try and ***** everybody. You are a real piece of work. ****** you've got problems. I should've walked away from you because I can see what kind of customer you are. Y'know, every once in a while you get one."(**************) "I have million-dollar customers who love my work." (Me) "Congratulations on your million-dollar houses. Our house looks like garbage! You keep trying to convince me how wonderful you are, and that's the backwards way a business owner should be. You should be, 'Do you have a problem? What can I do to help you?'"(Me) "Did you take the doorknobs off of the door when you painted?" (**************) "No. You don't have to take the doorknobs off if you're a painter. (Me) "There's paint all over the wood." (**************) "No. That's old paint. You are a real piece of ****, you know that?"" (I posted three pictures. You decide. (See ****** review.))(Me) "Since you acted the way you did to me, I am going to put everything online and let the court of public opinion decide." (**************) "Pictures don't show nothing right. No, no, no. Pictures do not show how things look." (Me) "What are you talking about?!? They're pictures!!" (**************) "I've been doing this for 39 years, ****** You don't know the first thing about ******* atoms from apples."(**************) "You are a real piece of **** I guess your wife went to an abusive relationship, didn't she?" (This is him saying this again) (Me) "Really? So, now I'm abusing my wife?" (**************) "You must be, because she's not allowed to speak."(**************) "You know what, you're pathetic. Just **** off!" (He hung up.)
