The landlord keeps coming in to our home without prior notice. Requesting that they stop doing this numerous on January 24th 2022 and another in May of 2022 and again this year in February of 2023. We paid for a swimming pool it opened on June 15th on June 24th of 2022 I sent the landlord a message. I advised her that my grandson had injured himself because there are no covers on the drains. I also advised her that the pool was half empty. She stated that you enter the pool at your own risk they are not liable. We sent a work order request in January 24th of 2022 and the repairs are just now being done February of 2023. We were told when we moved in that we would be responsible for repairs if it was because of our negligence. I bent the handle for the lock self cleaning knob on the oven. When maintenance came in he stated it was a common thing that occurs because there is no appliance instruction books. While he was looking at it and talking he said "oops. Looks like ut is completely broke now so I will have to order the part. No one told us we would have to pay for the repair. When they came back to replace the other maintenance man said ***** is charging us for the entire mechanism. When we called to discuss she says we can meet with us and than refused to meet with us. Now they're threatening to evict us until we paid the $184 76. There is ground missing underneath our back patio so you cannot step off of it without falling down a hill (I have fallen twice) there are wires showing that should be buried 12' we told her in March of 2022 and since than a littke girl was hurt when running through our yard. I had to fight an argue to get handicap parking. She has allowed a neighbor to threaten and harrass other neighbors, including us. They wont come out and finish painting the apartment. Elevated heat bill due to windows not able to close and there is air coming up from under house where the ground is missing under our patio.

      Complaint # ********

      Dear Sir or Madam:

I am the attorney for Stoneridge Apartments. They have asked me to respond to the cavalcade of lies and half truths put forward by Ms. ******.

This matter arose when the tenants complained that their oven was broken during their occupancy, The oven was not broken when the tenants moved in.

Pursuant to the attached lease, a tenant is responsible for damage done to the unit. The tenants were charged for the oven lock, The tenants screamed and yelled, but eventually paid it. Ever since, Ms. ****** has bombarded my client with emails and phone calls increasing in their intensity. Ms. ****** asked for a handicap parking sign and it was put up within hours. She then demanded one for her husband, despite lacking the necessary paperwork to substantiate his situation.

We deny the allegation about the swimming pool lacking drain covers.

We deny going to the tenants’ unit without permission. The tenants did not pay for a swimming pool.

The tenants asked for paint and it was given to them. In short, the ******s are inventing trouble, when none exists. The practical remedy is for the ******s to take their crazy- drama- three-ring circus elsewhere.

This property is fully rented with a waiting list. If the ******s are unhappy, we are willing to let them out of their lease, tonight, at midnight with NO penalty. Their leaving is the only way to solve this as Ms. ******’s flights of fancy are increasingly negative.

My client is contemplating legal action for the tenants’ prevarications.

      Sincerely yours,

      ******** ** *****
