We recently purchased quartz countertops from Requarth Lumber in Dayton, OH, and I HIGHLY recommend them. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional, and we are extremely satisfied with my purchase. First and foremost, Debbie, in the kitchen department, displayed an impressive level of knowledge and expertise. She took our rendered drawing and and gave us a couple of quotes for different styles. She patiently listened to our requirements and preferences, providing valuable insights and suggestions that helped us make an informed decision. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set this experience apart. The selection of countertops at Requarth was extensive, catering to a wide range of styles and budgets. I was impressed by the quality and variety of materials available, ensuring that every customer can find something that suits their taste and fits seamlessly into their home. While I was looking for quartz, they also had other materials. Debbie assisted us in finding the perfect quartz countertop that matched our vision. The entire purchasing process was smooth and hassle-free. Requarth scheduled every aspect, from measurement to installation, ensuring that we didn't have to worry about a thing. The installation team was punctual, professional, and meticulous in their work. They handled the countertop with great care and precision, ensuring a flawless fit and finish. When i first decided I was going to tackle a large deck project I knew I had better shop around for a company with a good reputation. Requarth was that company and they did not disappoint. Their staff was super knowledgeable and had good hands on experience with Timbertech composite decking and railing. They even loaned me a gun to put it down! Now I have a beautiful deck and I owe a debt of gratitude for the integrity and experience that Requarth brought to the table. I have recommended their company to all my friends!Review from Bart G

i did not get an order resolved on a set of storm doors which were ordered wrong. The order was placed with Anderson Window and Door company on Nov. 28th. When the doors came in they were incorrectly ordered and after three months of trying to work with the companies (Requarth and Anderson) I have been told that nothing can be done to correct my order or replace the doors with the correct ones. I have sent a letter to the firm requesting upper mtg. help but did not get any additional positive out-come. I am now left to reorder the doors at my additional cost which is not satisfactory and my doors are exposed to the weather while I wait for any replacement doors to arrive. I also went to Requarth because of the great company they have been, but this order did not work out as expected.

Hi Bart, I apologize for your experience and I wish we could have done something for you on the Andersen Storm doors you ordered incorrectly. Every Andersen product is made to order and is nonreturnable. That is why we review the order with you and you sign the order. We spoke on the phone and in the conversation you seemed to understand an accept responsibility for the error. Again, I am sorry that you had this experience. Outstanding Business. I purchased my kitchen, interior trim, and interior doors from the Requarth Co. with zero issues. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. It also makes me feel great that I purchased local with a company that has been in downtown Dayton for over 160yrs. WOW. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends.Review from Beverly B

We started a project on our bathroom in January 2021. It is now November 2021 and we are still trying to get the needed corrections to the cabinets. One of the drawers in the cabinets designed by Requarth hits the the door knob. All the doors on the cabinet vanity do open completely without hitting the walls. Another drawer is not sized correctly. The interior of the vanity are different colors. The vanity was produced too short that it is difficult to see yourself in the mirror. Which then the remodeler had to lower which looks odd at best. The doors in additional cabinet in the bathroom across from the sink and vanity have a noticeable bubble in the paint and the bathroom door hits the cabinet and in turn - the cabinet door hits the bathroom door. We were told in July that some (yes -not all) issues would be fixed. They still have not been corrected. We have experienced better service in the past from Requarth and we are very frustrated and disappointed in the quality of the cabinets but most of all we are disappointed in the lack of quality, care and respect in regards to our project, our time, our home and our money. We came to Requarth because we wanted the job done right and that is not what we got. Expensive does not equal quality in this case.Requarth Company Response

We are still working with the B******s to resolve their complaints.
Replacements for defective items are ordered but, due to supply chain issues, not yet received. A service technician will install as soon as possible.
Regarding the timeline: they met with a designer in January and ordered cabinets in February. Cabinets were received here and delivered in June. When the first complaints were registered in July, we responded promptly.
The complaint regarding mirror height was not made at that time and could have been more easily resolved during construction, Nonetheless, we have offered some solutions and are waiting for a response from the B******s.
Nearly every problem experienced in the course of this project was the result of either poor or miscommunication. We accept our share of the blame for the B******'s unhappiness and will continue to work toward a better outcome.
