I financed a 2013 Chevy malibu through Daymet Credit Union In October 2013 made payments till September 2021. And all the payments were made and they were not reporting the trade line to the credit bureaus. I have tried several times to get this issue resolved by phone and email and no response. I would like for them to report the trade line to the credit bureaus. I have the letter of payoff but nothing ever was reported to the credit bureaus. It has affected my opportunity to finance other items showing proof of a $30,000 car loan

We are currently researching this issue and will determine if there is something on our end that was done incorrectly. I am unable to download the loan payoff letter that was attached with this complaint. If you would like to provide any additional information you can email it to [email protected]. Thank you.

This issue has been researched and a corrected file will be available for the credit bureaus in the next 5 business days. It may take the credit bureaus an additional 30 days to pick up the corrected info, however, we expect all info to be reflected properly by April 1st at the very latest. Please monitor credit to ensure all is correct.

The company will not remove a loan charged off on 7/31/2019 still owing 4072.00 on my Experian credit report even though they gave me another loan 5/13/2020 when I called to make arrangements to take care of the charged off account. They gave me a loan and the exact amount of 4072.00 they should have been applied to the charged of amount making that a $0 balance. The account numbers for both loans are the exact same and I did not receive any money. The loan given May 2020 is current and payments on time.

We have researched this situation and concluded that the loan from 2019 can be removed from the credit report since the new loan satisfied that one. We see that the loan given May 2020 is current and paid on time. Please allow up to 30 days for the credit report to reflect the correction.

On 5-9-22, I went to Daymet Credit Union to stop a company from collecting further payments from my account without paying a fee to do so. The Rep explained I would have to close the account & opened another account. I did as I was instructed. I had a credit card payment associated with the savings account I closed, where my payment was automatically deducted from my checking account at Bridge Credit Union. In May I received my statement from Daymet showing that my monthly payment had not been paid due to Insufficient funds and late fees were applied. I went int o Daymet to question and resolve the issue. The teller said it was a problem at Bridge, and I needed to go to them to resolve the matter. I went to Bridge and they said Daymet had not initiated the interfund transfer as in the past years, for the credit card payment in May; and I needed to go back to Daymet. I did, but they had already taken the May Payment and Late Fees from my Daymet Account. When my June, July, August statements came I went to Dayment to resolve this non payment matter each month, but Daymet continued to claim that no errors had been committed on their part, & claimed the issue was reolved. Last month I brought in documentation (bank statements for each month), as requested by the Daymet Branch Manager, ******* ****** showing funds were available to make the credit card payment and a letter from Bridge CU explaining that even if I didn't have the funds in my checking account, I have overdraft protection and had Daymet CU initiated the interfund transaction it would've been paid and not returned Insufficient. She said that didn't prove anything & claimed their System didn't like my banking account information. She asked for my banking info & re-entered my account information for the payment. Upon receipt of my Daymet statement yesterday, and checking my Bridge account this matter is still not resolved. Daymet continues to refuse to fix their error & to charge and blame me for this matter.

We apologize for the inconvenience in this matter.  The situation was researched, and the problem began when the members account number at Bridge Credit Union changed.  Once DayMet Credit was able to get the correct account number; the automatic payment process did work.  Prior to this response, DayMet Credit did refund all fees that had been charged.  The automatic payment process is now working as it should.  Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.  DayMet believes this matter has been resolved.

      Respectfully,

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: my account information did not change at Bridge Credit Union and DayMet still is not taking responsibility for their errors regarding this matter. They treated me horribly by their staff and I want the facts to be noted for any problems I may experience in the future while doing business with them. I will make copies of all of my documentation and forward it to the BBB for further review by US Mail since your office remain close to the public for me to personally drop off.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

I am sorry you are not satisfied.  Our staff did the best they could with erroneous information. They treated you with curtesy even though that was not reciprocated. DayMet Credit Union has apologized for any inconvenience.  Corrected the automatic payment feature with another financial institution and refunded all the fees.  There really is nothing more we can do.

      Respectfully
