I have been referred to Dayton dental care to get my dentures and it has been a long process. They do not answer their phone when you call them you will receive a text message stating that they are busy that you can text, and someone will help you. I finally had got in there and I am at my last stage of the process to go and make sure the dentures fit right I had to cancel my appointment due to going into labor with my daughter. I have been calling and texting them for weeks and I have gotten no response to my calls or texts. I have had other people in my family try and contact them to see if they get lucky and it's not worked either. I have been with no teeth for almost a year, and I just want to be able to get in there and get the teeth.

Been a patient there for a couple of yrs. Last yr they pulled my wisdom teeth & made me an upper partial. No problems with any procedure, & the partial was beautiful..fit great. I accidentally flushed my partial down the toilet. So I saved a significant amount of money,in order to have another partial made. Went for the fitting, somehow the teeth were broken off. So they reattached them. I told them that wasn't going to hold, that they would break off. A month later one of the teeth broke off. I requested a whole new partial. New impressions were taken. Went for fitting. I was shocked. The teeth were square. The color was wrong. The pink resin used to blend the gum line was coating the whole tooth. It didn't fit. Between adjusting the plate & the trying to contour the teeth,so they would look natural, I was there over 3 hrs. In the end it still didn't fit correctly,& they were going to have the lab guy mess with the teeth some more. They never contacted me when it was finished. I made another appointment. The partial only had 1 tooth on it. They looked exactly like the partial before. I expressed my irritation. Waited a while for the tech to come back. Then got up & left. I stopped at the front & made a verbal complaint to the receptionist, before leaving. I've never had a problem before now. Staff, for the most part, is great. But I'm extremely unhappy,& I want my money back.

I went to Dixie dental for set of dentures. Everything was going fine up until the 7th of June when I was supposed to come in and pick up my dentures but I was Ill on the 7th and had to cancel. They acknowledge they had received my text and told me that they had taken care of the cancellations. I called back the next day which was the 8th of June and just like always nobody answers the phone up there you have to leave a message and they don't call you back they text you back. I left a message that I was calling to reschedule to pick up my dentures. I have called them 15 times and no one has answered the phone or called me back. They have sent the same text back every time that they are with another client and I can leave them a message or call back later. I called my nurse and let her try to contact them. She has gotten the same text that they are busy with another client and not once have they called her back either. This has all been with the front office. They only have one phone number to get in touch with anyone and I don't think that's a dentist has any idea what is going on. I have saved all of the text and been advised to file a formal complaint in Columbus My dentures have been for almost a month now and this is been absolutely ridiculous. The perfect ending to her little game would be for her to lose her job.

Dental service was provided on January 24, 2022. Was told my co-pay, in conjunction with my dental insurance, would be $276.25. This amount was paid with my credit card (American Express). When i received my monthly statement from Delta Dental I learned that my copay should have been 179.00, not $276.25. I reported this to Dayton Dental and they agreed that they had overcharged me $102.80. I was promised a check for this amount would be mailed to me. I have been back to Dayton Dental Care on several occasions since February asking for my refund. To date, they have been giving the run around.

I am a long-time customer of Dixie Dental & Denture Center. Starting on August 2, 2021. Dixie Dental and Denture Center started the process of making upper and lower partials for me. I have had an appointment with them every week since August 2 until December 7, 2021. They pre-approved my denture work through my insurance company Superior Dental. I paid them my portion of the money before they started making my dentures. The Dentist at Dixie Dental promised me that I would have my partial prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday. I was scheduled every week. One week, I showed up and they said my partials was not finished because somebody in the Lab died. One week, I showed up and they offered to do a free cleaning because my dentures were not ready. I work full-time and have to request a day off or time off work each time, I am scheduled. Nobody gave me the courtesy of calling me to inform me not to come to the appointments because my partials were not ready. I need a doctor's form filed out by the Dentist. He charged me $40.00 dollars to complete the form. He filled it out wrong. Dixie Dental attempted to charge me form x-rays. I told them that my insurance pay for 1 free x-ray per year. They told me, I needed to pay because their staff, who performed the x-rays did not do a panoramic x-ray. I told them that it was not my fault that their staff made a mistake. They informed me that the insurance companies all ways pay if they bill for a panoramic x-ray. I replied then you should have done a panoramic x-ray. Dixie Dental made to sets of metal partials from my imprints and they could not make either set fit in my mouth. The Dentist suggested that I just let him redo the dentures ad make a ceramic pair because he was sure they would fit correct. I asked him: what is the different in the cost for metal and ceramic. He said "oh" that a good question. We billed your insurance for a metal pair. We will resubmit the billing for the ceramic ones, and you will receive a refund for

Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2022/01/25) */ Dixie Dental contacted me and provided a refund for the different in the service that I paid for and the services that the provided. Dixie Dental attempted to adjust my upper and lower partials. I have not been able to wear my partials because my mouth is still too sore from trying to wear the too tight partials. I don't feel like I was treated very well by the cerical staff at check in and check out. The clerical staff demanded to see my I.D. in order to receive my refund check. The Dental staff had already checked me in, checked my name, SSN, D.O.B, ect.
