My neighbor had a fence installed by Bellbrook Fence when we were out of town. When we return the photos show the condition the fence installers left our property (driveway & mulch beds) They didn't have our permission to enter our property. We have a great relationship with our neighbor who was having the fence installed so, I would not really have an issue with them entering my property without permission if they would of merely returned our property back to the condition they found it in. I have reached out to Bellbrook Fence two times and yet to get a return call. I delayed posting this review, giving management 3 days to reach out to me. Their nonresponse tells me everything I need to know about the professionalism. I had them quote installing a fence for us, but that will not happen.Bellbrook Fence Co., Inc. Response

Good day, Mr S**** called the office and talked to Justin about the issues. The manager was out of town and sent a crew to address the concerns. The customer placed a review via Google reviews. The manager was still out of town. The manager did call and let Mr Sweet we had been out there. He was unaware. The manager sent out the installation supervisor to meet with him and addressed the other issues. All issues were resolved 7/11/24Review from Evita J.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Bellbrook Fence at 1130 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering will install your fence, take your money and when the fence starts going bad in 5 months they only talk, and do nothing. They installed my 6 ft fence with 2 gates. A month after the install they had to come back and replace several boards because of poor quality. After 5-6 months the fence looked like it is 10 years old with boards bowing, twisting, and bending. And one gate had sagged nearly 2 in. I could barely get it open. I contacted Bellbrook Fence the first week of May 22 and have been given the run around ever since. One gentlemen came and wanted to move the gate hardware down. That was not going to fix the sag. He said he would let the manager know there was serious issues with the fence and someone else would be out. That person came and said he would send someone out with boards to replace the bad ones. The crew arrived with 30 boards. After looking at the fence he said the salesman needed to come out because 30 boards would not even be a start repair the fence. Salesman came out, took pictures and stated he would speak with the owner and manager about the next step. I should hear from them in a week or so. After 3 weeks I stopped by the office and they knew nothing about the pictures or the salesman being to my house. That they can't control moisture in the wood. I have been going back and forth with them since the first week of May with nothing being done except passing the issue between them and zero customer service. I have a 10 month old fence that looks 10 years old. One gate that I can't use because of its sagging and a second gate that is getting there. You do not want to do any business with this company. On 9/22/2022 customer visited the office and we set an appointment for the following Monday 9/26/22 at customer's home. This complaint was filed after the appointment was set and before the appointment was held. We will be out there Monday morning.Customer Response

Ron did come out on 9/26. Went over the fence and said they would be out to take care of the issues. Would call and let me know about the sometime this week. Today is 9/30, so far have not heard from anyone else.Customer Response

After Ron came out on 9/26/2022 I was contacted of the office and told the supplies needed for the repairs were in and the crew would be out 10/7/202 for the repairs. A couple of days later Ron called and stated that he had went to the yard to pick the lumber for the fence repair and was not happy with what was available. Would order the lumber and contact me when it came in and set an appointment. The 10/7/2022 was canceled. Have heard nothing since then.Customer Response

Was contacted on 12/2/22 and told the crew would be out on 12/12/22 to get the repairs started. On 12/7/22 the office called around 430 and stated the crew had finished their current job and could be out on 12/08/22 and start the fence repairs. On 12/8/22 the crew arrived and got started. The bad gate was taken down and they started replacing the bad boards on the one side of the yard. I had to leave while the crew was still working. The one gentle stated that the size of the boards was giving them trouble and would it be alright if a couple of the replacement boards could be cut small to fit. I told him if it was just a couple that would be ok. It turned into 6 boards. They took out 2 sections of the back fence to replace a bad 4x4. When I got back that night the one side appeared to be done. 2 boards were in the fence, not nailed. The back was reinstalled. The fence was level across the back, it now has a valley sloping downward. Not acceptable. On Friday the crew returned while I was at a doctors appt. As I was leaving I wondered where the trailer with the lumber and concrete was. Thought the supplies would be arriving. When I returned the crew was gone. Thought maybe an early lunch. The crew never came back. There are still 4 4x4's that have not been replaced. The fence corner is just like it was. And the gate that was put up is a joke. The boards ar cut uneven, the top corner had been hacked off so it fit into the opening. On the side of the hinges the top is tight against the fence board and the bottom is nearly 2 inches away from the fence board. And none of that fencing across there is level. I called Ron, nothing. I went over to the office and the gentlemen there said he would let Ron know and he would give me a call. This has still not happened. I thought the fence was finally going to be taken care of. I have been trying to work with this company since the first week of May 2022.Customer Response

01/14/2023 Computer has been down for a few weeks. Catching up. 12/14/23 Ron stopped by and took pictures of all of the issues. Said he would call and give me a time for the repairs to be made. Never heard anything--called 12/19/22 and 12/20/22. Went to office 12/21/22, Office did not know anything about any repairs or anything being schedule. Would have Ron call. 12/22/22 called at 8:30 and 9:10, left messages. 12/27/22- Ron called and said they would be out on Friday to do repairs and replace gate. 12/30/22 called office at 11:00 am and asked where the crew was. Office said they were at my house. I told them they were not at my house. She contacted the crew and said they were finishing up the other job, would go to dinner, and then be at my house. I called at 2:30 pm and asked where the crew was, still on the other job. Spoke to Ron and asked if they were planning on coming out the next week since it was getting so late in the day and the crew was still on the other job. Said they would be out, I mentioned the fact that it would soon be dark. Ron said if they could not get out they would be out the next week. I went to work, when I got home I seen the gate had been replaced. The other issues had been taken care of. My neighbor told me that the crew arrived at dark. After 8 long months of calling and stopping by the office the repairs has been made. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't have the same issues appear again. It took just 5 months before. And I know this time I will be on my own. .
