I paid **** ******* of D&Dhomeservices on 6/28/21 $10000 and another $6000 in August 2021 to renovate a half-bath, hall bath and master bath. Additionally, I paid Mr. ******* another payment of over $5000 in August due to termite damage. All payments were charged to my American Express card. As of March 8, 2022 approximately 2/3 of the half bath is completed, 2/3 of the hall bath and less than. 50% of the master bath is complete. Mr. ******* has given reasons ranging from, illness, a work-related injury at my house, possible bankruptcy and other reasons as to why my bathrooms are not completed. Mr. ******* also maintains the original contract stated fiberglass would replace tile in my hall and master baths. The contract does not state fiber glass would be used and I mentioned during the initial walk through of my home that I wanted items (I.e. tile replaced with like materials). Because there was a misunderstanding, I agreed to pay Mr. ******* another $2200 for tile to be installed in my hall and master baths following an in-person meeting with him my home of 12/3/21. Although I have been very flexible with allowing Mr. ******* to work my home into his schedule, during a late September/early October call I asked that my home been completed by Thanksgiving. Mr. ******* continues to provide dates in which he will complete the bathrooms only to miss the dates and not provide updates until I call. The most recent date of completion he provided was 1/21/22. Mr. ******* has stated he will not finish the master bath due to the amount of labor the hall bathroom required. Mr, ******* has also failed to provided an updated contract following the purchase of the tiles as I have request numerous times. I also paid Me. ******* over $16000 to remodel my kitchen. Mr. ******* has refused to provide and addendum for the kitchen order and I have not seen any kitchen equipment. I have requested an addendum for the kitchen several times. Business response

      03/30/2022

Good day. First off, I would like to say that we here at D&D Home Services LLC strive for excellence and have worked very hard at maintaining an A+ rating with the BBB. With this said, we are very concerned with the contract dispute we are currently involved in with Mr. ********. We are definitely willing to talk this situation out in the presence of legal counsel. There is always two sides to every story and this also holds true with our situation. Please reach out to me to discuss this matter.

      Better Business Bureau:

I would like to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID ********.

I appreciate your offer to provide arbitration. However, based upon the most recent communication, workmanship and other behavior of Mr. *******, I am not confident he would abide by any decision without a court order.

Mr. *******, beginning late June 2021, was provided several months to complete restroom renovations on my home.  This work should have taken 3 to 4 weeks at most.  Additionally, Mr. ******* received multiple request from me regarding providing documentation for the kitchen cabinet order he maintains he placed during August 2021.  Mr. ******* never provided documentation or any actual equipment, supplies, etc.  I paid Mr. ******* the full amount for,the cabinets in advance.

Lastly, I did not receive excellence as Mr. ******* listed he has provided by his company during the last 20+ years.  Furthermore, I I’d not receive excellence Mr. ******* listed his provided during the last 20+ years.

D&D Homeservices LLC. was originally brought to my attention via a referral.  The person who provided the referral to me nor myself would recommend D&D Homeservices LLC be contracted for future work required by any of our acquaintances.

Although I paid Mr, ******* in advance for bathroom and kitchen renovations for my house, he abandoned bathroom renovations and never provide proof regarding the kitchen order.

I would like a refund for,the remaining bathroom renovation work and a full refund for the kitchen renovations for which I paid Mr. ******* in advance.  An A+ business would not require court action to provide excellence to a customer.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ********
