Gem City Home Improvement was excellent on waterproofing and installing my glass block windows. Tony was gentleman and very polite and respectful. I would recommend if you have and basement leakage to call Gem City Home Improvement as well as any glass block for a basement.. I am completely satisified with the work and employees, They totally respected my home and property. Great Job Gem City. Thank YouReview from Steve M

What can I say - Tony and his team were GREAT! Here's the story - I bought a bar room shuffle board for my rec room without measuring the turn into the basement...it was a solid 9 feet of wood, and it wasn't happening (or so I thought). My next thought was "well, I'm going to have to knock out the block glass window into the basement, bring it in that way, and then have it replaced". Tony came out to provide an estimate for the job and then said "you know what, I think if you take the door off it's hinges and remove that railing, you can make the turn". I offered him money for his help in doing that, and he said "I have a couple guys around the corner that will help you free of charge". WHO DOES THAT???? It was awesome, they were polite, professional, and in and out in 20 minutes. Now the table is assembled, and I'm realizing I need to practice on my shuffleboard skills so my kids don't whip me! Basement waterproofing with new sump & well. Professional, Competitively priced company. Start date/finish dates as promised. This company provided phenomenal service. I had to leave my home a few times,( I was leery). The workers remained in the work area(no issues there). I'm pleased with the aesthetics of my basement. I no longer consider it a damp dungeon. We had a few heavy days of rainfall, and a few days of normal rainfalls. No leaks & the basement remains dry!!! I fully recommend this company.Review from Steve T

I was very happy with the job Gem City did on my roof. They tore off the old shingles plus the old cedar shingles from my 100 yr old home, completely re decked with osb and re shingled in one day. those guys worked their butts off and the new roof looks great. I am very grateful for the fantastic job they did on my roof and my new gutters. I highly recommend Gem City for a quality job done right. I have never had anyone from a company be so rude as Tony was to me. He kept interrupting me and when I tried asking questions or trying to get a statement out, he accused me of being rude. I told him that he was being rude because he would not let me finish a statement. He suggested I go elsewhere for my business because I was so rude and he would not "kiss ***" to get my business. I just wanted to know when he could get the project started and an approximate cost.Review from Henry S

I appreciated the concern they had for my Mom. I live in Cincinnati and they weren't able to find the problem with her sump initially. I called them because it was under warranty. They provided excellent service and returned to correct the issue which was a problem with the outlet. Mom's concerns were assuaged immediately. Great Management and great Staff. I had installation of a complete subfloor basement drainage tile system with sump and pump and installation of five glass block windows. The job began with Tony's expert assessment of the situation and his design of an appropriate solution. He answered all questions and instilled great confidence. The job was completed in very timely fashion by Tony's exemplary crew, led by Harold and Jason. All were very respectful and went out of their way to address questions and concerns as the went along. Their high standard for quality in their work and attention to detail was evident. At the completion of the job, cleanup was spectacular, and time was taken to walk through the job with me to explain last minute details. The price for the job was extremely reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased!
