American Financial Planners is the agent that handles the policies for my insurance at ****** insurance and has for several years. After I was divorced and my ex-husband and I got separate policies, I no longer had access to my account. This change occurred without my knowledge or consent. I went to set up another account so that I could get my insurance cards and pay my bill online, but the automated system said my information was inaccurate. I contacted ****** and they said that my agent had me connected with my ex-husband's policy for his new house and that until the agent fixed it on their end, I would be unable to set up an account. They stated that only the agent can make changes to the policy. I contacted American Financial Planners and the man told me this was not true. I contacted ******, again, and went through the hour long tech support call only to receive the same information, that the agent has my information somehow tied up to my ex-husband's account. I contacted the agent once again and he would not help me and told me to just wait until something came in the mail to determine my options. He implied that it was my fault that I was unable to set up an online account by saying to wait until the paperwork came in the mail. I have had this new policy for months now and have received no paperwork whatsoever. They made changes to my policy and account without even informing me and don't seem to care. I have no online access to pay this bill nor do I have an insurance card for either of my vehicles. I've received no policies in the mail and think they are probably going to my ex-husband's house.. Neither ******, nor American Financial Planners seem to care. I would like this resolved immediately and I no longer wish to go through this agent. I feel his implications were verbally abusive.
