      Original estimate given 3/2/22, work was started and 1st part of job was completed by approx 3/17/22. Was satisfied with the prompt reply to any questions or messages I had up to this point, gave them a good review when requested by **** ***** (owner of Creative L&L). But when I questioned about the water pooling on the new paver patio he said did not immediately reply. Then the trees were ready for planting and that is where the problems started happening- we were told that the trees would be 3-4ft apart (wanted them for privacy) and when they were being installed and my husband questioned them he was told THEY WERE 3-4ft apart, when actually they are 7+ft apart! No privacy even when grown. I was told to mark the PROPERTY LINE and I put flags out on the property line with a text to **** ***** that they were marked for PROPERTY only NOT PLACEMENT. The 8 trees are placed to the last PROPERTY marker making them farther apart then the 3-4ft as told and expected. I started texting and calling (leaving msgs from May 2022 thru 1/23) and one of the first replies I received I was told he was busy and would get there next week to look at issues. The next reply was telling me to water the trees because I was questioning the brown on some of them, but we had rain & then was told it could have been too much water?????. I was told there was a YEAR WARRANTY! I did not receive another reply from 7/2022, I have left numerous text msgs and phone calls with no answer. Corner of my patio fills with water when it rains and my trees will not provide the privacy (due to spacing) which was the REASON FOR THE 8 TREES! It seems after I paid them over $10,000 I no longer mattered nor did the job they did!!! ** I am worried that the work to fix this problem would not be QUALITY since they have not answered previous attempts.

      We are sorry that you feel that we have not been prompt in returning your phone calls. 
      The “trees” that Mrs.**** is referring are actually upright evergreen shrubs. We entered into a contract to provide and install 8 five-six ft tall shrubs. The agreement was that the homeowner would mark the area along the property line that she wanted them installed. We installed them exactly where she had put the flags. 
      When she ask me to price the privacy landscape I explained that it would take more than 8 shrubs to achieve a 100% block from the neighbors and she said that she would start with 8 and see if that would be enough and if it wasn’t then would make a decision on additional privacy landscaping. 
      At the time of installation we made it very clear that the homeowner is responsible for keeping all new plantings watered. After a couple of months she phone to question why the new plantings were turning brown and had indicated that she had not watered them even know it was now July and we hadn’t had rain in weeks. I told her to water them regularly. A couple more months went by and I received another call and she said the shrubs are leaning so I drove by and took a look and they were standing up strait. 
      Early winter she started sending multiple text and daily phone calls telling me she wanted me to look at the paver patio because when it rained a lot there was puddles on the patio. I told her I would be happy to fix the water issue but it would have to wait until the weather was above freezing. 
      We stand behind all of our work and have 100’s of satisfied clients.

      I would like to respond to a few points that were in the reply from Creative Landscape, especially dates.

      3/15/22 - Paver Patio installed
      3/16/22 -  Text sent questioned Patio not level
      4/25/22  -  Text stating I put stakes to mark PROPERTY LINE only not for PLACEMENT (as I was told to do) we had discussed the trees were only to go to corner of neighbors house & that 8 would be a good start in that space (3-4ft apart)
      *** His reply was I was to mark placement- I am not the professional, I don't know where they go.
      4/27/22 - Trees installed and **** was not on job, my husband questioned the distance was told by employee "they were 3ft apart".  When I asked why the distance **** he stated they were place for growth & width.
      5/31/22 - Texted again about water pooling on Patio and ask if he could come by and look at trees also. (yellow)
      *** His reply indicated my first question about tree color (brown) was in JULY. I was told to stop watering, too much water will turn trees YELLOW (i was not watering). I asked him to let me know when he would be by.
      *** **** indicated he came by and looked at trees.... I did not know this, he did not reply to me about this.
      6/30/22 - Text regarding no reply yet & we were going to be gone and would let him know when we returned so he could come out. (told me to have someone water trees & I did)
      7/13/22 - Text asking to be put on his schedule to come out and look at Patio & trees.
      Same Text on 9/6/22 & 10/5/22  NO REPLY
      ******* stated that I started sending multiple texts and "daily" phone calls wanting him to look at patio. He said he told me the repair would have to wait until weather was above freezing....this is UNTRUE!  I have not received any attempt to contact or TALK to me about fixing the "water issue", and the fact is that I started questioning the patio in MAY! (actually questioned the day after install & **** told me it was level, he did it himself). I did send 3 phone messages because he did not reply to my texts and I was trying to give him a chance before I contacted BBB.
      This was unlike the man that came out and gave me the estimate and started my job quickly...I thought maybe he was ill or had closed his business, since I did not have ANY communication from him.
      I just wanted to set the record straight regarding some inaccuracies with his statements, which I have backed up with proof of text messages and dates.
      I would like to know WHY he never responded to ANY of my attempts to contact him??  I would have liked to have been one of the "100s of satisfied clients"

      I would like this Complaint against Creative Landscape noted as UNRESOLVED.
