We contacted Affordable monument back in July of 2022.The amount that we paid "IN FULL" was $2,950.00 for an upright headstone with my sisters picture. It was paid in full in August/September of 2022. The business was supposed to provide us with a headstone...but after numbers being changed...calls not returned...and e-mails not being responded to and the business phone number not able to be reached, I was then forced to this. It has almost been a year and although I am not in the headstone business I have not seen ANY progress and did not imagine it would take a YEAR to get us a headstone. True ****** *. sent me a text of what my sister's headstone would "look" like but anything can be quickly made up digitally. At this point I want my money back, as I do not trust continuing doing business with them. Every time we did speak to them it was an excuse as to why we had not seen the actual headstone or why the foundation had not been laid at the cemetery on and on etc... etc... I reached out to ****** *. in March of this year and although she told me she was expecting, I did congratulate her but still needed to be kept in communication with SOMEONE regarding my sister's headstone. She assured me it would be her husband and I still as of this day 05/15/23 have not heard anything. My mom left a vm the week of 05/08/2023, with no return call back yet. I also sent an e-mail to the business on 05/12/2023...still nothing. I also "heard" that the business was sold to someone else in Jan 2023. I want my money back as it is hard enough grieving over my sister and then to feel like you have been scammed. My mother is also upset and I DO NOT like seeing her upset after she had to deal with losing a child!!!!!Initial Complaint

Date of the transaction: Met in public places (was told due to renovation) The amount of money you paid the business: $2000.00 What the business committed to provide you: Head stone for "mother" Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: (No) "Not at all" paid in full!!!
