Contacted voss call center may 30, 2023. Advised my car, 2020 hyandai accent needed to be looked at. That it feels like there is a transmission issue. Call center advised they could not get me in until sept 7. I advised that was entirely too long to wait and the other dealerships in the surrounding area also have a wait. Advised my car is under warrenty but the problem was I felt like I am not able to use the warrenty because hyandai makes the customer wait so long that you are forced to get the repairs done at an automobile repair mechanic other then hyandai forcing me to have to pay for covered warrenty repairs. This is with all hyandai dealerships.

Yes Hyundai dealerships are extemely bogged down with service recalls and having a hard time keeping up.  However, we are doing the best we can with the resources we have and the available support from Hyundai.

I have a 2011 HYUNDAI SONATA that I drive 40-miles round trip to and from work daily, I had noticed that the car will lose some speed going up an incline, So I drove the vehicle to Voss Hyundai on 766 Miamisburg Centerville Rd. to diagnose it for me. The service advisor by the name of ***** called me after about 2 weeks and told me that they looked at the car, and the problem was the oxygen sensors (02 sensors) and that the car will run better if I replace both of the sensors. I asked him how much it will cost to replace both sensors, and he told me, I believe $850.00, which I authorized the job. About a week later, he called and told me that the sensors were replaced but the car moving well, which at this point he told me that he believed the problem was the Catalytic Converter, and that it will cost $2500 to change. I told him that I don't have the money for that and that I will come and get my car. I went there and paid them just under $900.00, As I drove off their lot the car was making a weird noise as if it was going to fall apart and almost stopped in the middle of the road, I managed to pull it off the road and packed. I call Steve and wanted to know why a car that I drove into his dealer stopped moving after I spent almost $900.00 on oxygen sensor and he just keep saying that I need to change the catalytic converter. I felt like I was ripped off, and should be refunded the money I paid since probably misdiagnosed the fault. Or at least make the car drivable, afterall I drove the car to them.
